You always knew there were several of these Larry stories out there from girls that Larry has met, briefly dated or tried to hit on. It was just a matter of time before one of them told their "Larry story" on this board.

This might open the flood gates. Expect a lot more of these in the coming months. Now other girls will feel OK doing it now that the first one has led the way. It's OK ladies. It's OK. CSFMB is here for you.

Let's guess the story. Big Fan gives the winner a shirt. It could be the standard not taking a break up well and stalking her with phone calls and unannounced show ups. Could be him telling a date that he wants her to be more like his mommy. This is Larry so it could be worse.

My Guess:

Larry meets a white girl at a bar. She rejects his advances politely and declines a date with him. Larry goes wild. First he does the "Do you know who I am?" thing. Then he goes there. He tells her that her rejection of him is racist. Telling her that not going on a date with him is the same as burning a cross. Larry has to be restrained. As the bouncer carries Larry out of the bar he kicks and screams while reciting a Malcolm X speech. The last words heard before he's out the door is "We didn't land on white women. White women landed on us!" The bar is silent and the girl is scared.

Giving her until tomorrow night to post.

Let's just say she identified him as "The little black guy that works there" as she didn't remember his name.

Larry: :x

Dr. Keneith Noisewater: You're more than that to me. I'll always remember your name.

Larry: Shut up, cracka!!! I'll drop you faster than you can say "race card". Then I'll use it to tell people I was justified in knocking you out!!! Who they gonna believe? I'm undefeated with the card.

Dr. Kenneth Noisewater:

Big Fan: Tried to tell you, Doc.

Dr. Kenneth Noisewater: You were right. You all were right. I'm such a fool.

Beardown: It' alright, buddy. We feel for you. Nobody is gonna gloat. This one's for you:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nSz16ngdsG0

The funny thing is Score people are eagerly awaiting Big Fan's story. Drinky and Goff want to read it. Those two probably have seen Larry in action so it won't shock them.

Larry has read this as well and he's trying to figure out which girl Big Fan is talking about. There probably have been so many disturbing "Larry hiting on women" moments to where he can't figure out who it is. Larry, this is the time to join the board. You're a reporter. Break this story. Scoop Big Fan on this. We'll count it as one breaking story for you.

Well, here we go. She might still sign in or her brother would read this and say something, as he was familiar with the site.

So she is sitting next to me and we just start talking. Says she is from Chicago. Tells me a story about her sister texting into the show of 'That little black guy". She didn't know his name. I said Holmes, she said Yes. Made sure it was not Jason, she said no, it was Laurence Holmes, as the chill ran down her spine when she said it.

Claims her sister sends in a text, somehow identified as a female? And Larry sends back a "R U Single?". Now I am sure Larry is the not the first guy in radio to pick up a chick because he is on the air, but it still makes it none the less creepy he is responding to texters with propositions.

Not to mention, I have to figure there is some CBS Policy on that type of shit, but that is his problem and shall not interfere with the story.

Larry proceeds to invite her to 'The Crib" to "Chill out" the next night and she goes! She told her sister before she went, she told her she was nuts for doing it.

Per the sister, Larry didnt get anything (but who knows?)

So the sister, needs to see who this guys is, so Larry is doing a remote in the S Loop for something, so she goes to see him and her words to me are "Ewwwww! what a creepy looking dude"

To be fair, I don't think Larry looks that creepy (Until he smiles), but that makes him none the less actual creepy in a Napoleonic Stalker kinda way.

weird behavior from both parties. You would think a guy as active in social media would be more careful in sending the "RU single"? text.

That's just one angle.I am sure back in the day, guys took calls from ho's all the time and they hooked up.

Now when they have an electronic record of it and who knows what the girls motives are to come over after a text or 3?

But he is a Man he can do what he wants.

Northside, first of all you are taking half of Frank's thunder, thats his line.

Second, I actually chose to look at how many threads I have started on the topics you claim "I make the most threads about"

A. LARRY - The last time I found I even posted about Larry was over a week ago last Thursday, over 10 days ago. I didn't even make the thread and just referenced him in such thread.

B. The Sox - I started 5 of the last 40 threads. 3 of them I could have easily put in other sections (Ozzies House, Farmio's best 2nd baseman and Rongeys "It isn't Fair"), but I chose to place them in the Sox section for others entertainment.

Despite Frank's often posted thought that I must listen or watch an entire Sox game, it's just not true. I don't go out of my way to avoid them (Like the Larry show), so I get to hear or see an inning or two.

I usually do something every night, stopping for dinner, meet a client, meeting at the black lodge, etc, so I usually drive home from somewhere in the city every night to end my day, and in the past have usually had the Score on.

This 5-15 minutes of time I get to listen to these fine examples of broadcast museum stuff is a small sample size of what they both do, yet I catch tons of terrible thoughts and radio from both.

With said sample size, I can only imagine how bad 2-3 hours of both is.

Larry actually caused me to pre program my FM stations in my car! Which is now 3 years old and I don't think I have done so since they day I bought the car in looking for music!

So Northside_Dan maybe you are wring and KS is right as my tee ball league posts have elapsed the Larry posts and you failed to comment on the fact the most posts I make are actually in the Bubs section with starting 7 threads of the last 40????

Thanks for noticing though

Forgot this part!

When she said he was just this little shit, I told her about Larry's short lived career as a professional baseball catching prospect. She also had a good laugh at that one.

As I pointed out the guy in the Cubs bullpen, Edgar Tovar who is 5'10" was an Expos SS prospect for like 10 years and didnt make the bigs, and thats how he became a Bullpen catcher, gotta have a job.

There's a lot of strange perversions associated with Chicago sports radio. Didn't Wild Bill have a heart attack whilst rubbing one out to the dulcet tones of Julie Sweica?

At 36 years of age Larry should be beyond this kind of weirdness. It's reckless, foolish and dangerous. It shows he's desperate, has no game and needs to use his Score position at the Score to get women.

The big deal is the risk he takes in doing this. Nobody should do stuff like this in this day and age. Especially a public figure that represents the Score/CBS. I'll bet that this story isn't the only time he's done this. Here's the dangerous part. What if one of these girls is a minor? He doesn't know the age of the texter and/or caller when he pulls this stunt. I wonder if he even bothers to ask. They could lie even if he does. What if a 16 year old shows up at your house, Larry? Then that meeting is jail time. Doesn't matter if you knew or not. You'll have to prove it in court. Maybe it doesn't even matter if you didn't know. I'm not sure. I'm not a lawyer and wouldn't do sick/weird shit like this. Either way it shows how stupid you are. Even if they're of age, you could be inviting some druggie, hooker or gang banger to your house, you idiot. Like others have said, something has to be wrong with a women who would agree to do something like this.

He's putting himself and the Score at risk cuz he's solicitating these dates on company time though company phone lines and using his position at the Score to do so. I would imagine a huge company like CBS has a policy against this sort of thing. Big companies always try to protect themselves against everything.

Post subject:  Re: larry story

Just saying the Score is at risk with Larry's reckless behavior if in fact something bad happens like a minor showing up at Larry's house. You always have to think of worst case scenerio in every thing you do. Larry should be aware of this.

What makes it worse is the fact that Larry is quick to be judge and jury of athletes behavior. I remember Larry joining Bernstein in discussing Patrick Kane. How he's out of control and needs to be more mature and aware of his stature in Chicago. Not put himself in bad positions. What's the old saying? Don't throw stones at glass houses. Maybe Larry needs to shut up and let Bernstein scold the athletes while he sits there silent.

Beardown: Hey Larry, what would Bernstein think of you inviting random, unknown, female listeners to the house? What would your mommy think? What would Captain America, Superman and Spiderman think?

Larry:

Larry has lists of who texts him. He is like LBJ, making lists and taking name of people that dislike him and doubt his broadcasting jeaniusness.

So if you ever texted they can sort the texts by number. So all your texts will come up.

Do you think Larry's producers are ordered to set up the dates with the women texters? Do you think Mitch will suspend him or at least question him about him it and tell him to stop?

It really is deplorable, weird and deserving of some kind of punishment. It's a big radio station in the 3rd largest market and this is what your 36-year-old, part time, talk show host does? He's trying to set up dates while hosting a radio show? Really? Mitch and Zim should be embarrassed.
