They are going to have a stroke or heart attack at one of these post game shows. These dudes are too old to get that fired up.

I like OB constantly calling for the shotgun. Well uh, the shotgun is fine but it's not effective if your receivers can't get open. Why doesn't he get that? You can run whatever formation you want. If there's no one to throw to, what does it matter?

OB's hate for Angelo and Lovie is hilarious.

I think I'm over the "legendary" status of two confused old men yelling about Bears football. It seriously sounds like two guys, at some home, trying to figure out how to turn on the 8-track player when they start yelling for a caller to speak.

I know it's the essence of sports talk to beat crap into the ground, and to be repetitive, but dear Lord these two crank out the same crap...call after call after call. The only thing that could make it worse is if they HAD to have Larry on every week. Wait.

I may have missed it, but what is the backstory of Doug "choking out Bernstein" that the caller was referring to?

There's no point in having the show after a win.

After a loss, however, it is great. Moron callers and meatball hosts yelling makes Speeps a happy boy.

I think this show, after a Bears loss (especially to the Packers) is the most entertaining show on the score.

but you can turn on no less than three other stations to find a postgame that meets your tastes (or wait a couple of hours for the show to end and the score to switch over to more mainstream analysis). Doug and OB are unique. I think the visceral, knee jerk response is fun and therapeutic for a little while after a loss.

The funniest thing about this show is when they're screaming at each other but they're actually agreeing with each other.

I like when callers are obviously baiting them into yelling. There was some guy yesterday yelling about Joliet Catholic. His joke failed as the boys kind of just calmly agreed with him.

Doug and OB are what Who You Crappin used to be.

 I did hear that call. Legit facepalm moment.

As much as I think Doug & OB are fossils, as well as the fact that I'd rather hear Hub after a game, the callers are really what makes the show bad.

They had a blast from the past yesterday with Irish Bill calling in. That guy used to be a staple of the Heavy Fuel Crew and has disappeared from the station. I thought he was dead.

Irish, dead, same deal.

What about Patio Steve? I seem to recall hearing a few different things about him.
