BigFan is doing what a message board lord and ruler must, he is providing content and direction even if it means listening and gathering intel on bad hosts who suck wiener.

Laurence is ok. I kinda like his different spin on things. I enjoy a little comic book, movie or pop culture stuff mixed in like he does. And he knows his Bears stuff. Does a damn fine job with that, IMO. I'm not over the top RPB lovin' with him though.

He was an intern right after me at the Belmont Bunker. I remember the day Spiegs introduced me to him when we were cutting an open in the "back room". He seemed kinda quiet and very proper (so was I of course) .

At the Score Christmas party at Ditka's in '97, I sat at a table with him, Julie Swieca and some others. They had karoake at this party and a friend of mine, Eric from grade school was the DJ there. It was cool to see him. 8) I remember Julie did "Black Velvet" by Alama Miles (sp?) and I did "People Are Strange" by The Doors. I can't remember if Lawrence did karaoke or not....I don't think so. I remember the two hot hispanic ladies at XRT/SCR front desk being there and were surprised at me singing and were smiling at me.....I prolly could've scored that night......OR NOT!?

Ditka's had a nice spread. 8) I remember this was also the time that Mac and Pappy were having their spat. North was at the bar and Mac came up to me and turned to me and said something like "Can you believe that guy?" Other things were said but as you all know, they made up........fun times.

If I really did I would have listened past the 5 minutes he spends on his show open. Not even sure what he said about white people apologizing as a segment? I was so curious I turned off the radio and headed out to Vines.

Has a little Northy element in reverse, but has the same trait of not being able to drive a show as he thinks.

But Big Fan, let me just say that I'm really excited about tonight's show Big Fan. We have a full boat, Uncle Teary, and I have a lot of fun things in store, Big Fan. For the first hour, Big fan, we're going to talk a lot, and I mean a lot, of Cubs. Big Fan, I've got some interesting tape that I think everyone is going to want to hear, and a take that many not see coming. And Big Fan, you know me, I want to keep my stuff. So we're going to talk a little bit about how best to find a doppleganger of our mother. In hour 2, Big Fan, we're going all out Bears. I've got some exclusive tape from Ironhead Heyward that I think everyone will agree has a lot of meaning with what's been going on with this team, specifically their offense, the past couple of weeks. Oh, and Big Fan, a late add to the show tonight is the tag team of Hunter Hillenmeyer and Alex Brown breaking down exactly what the Bears D is doing right and, maybe more importantly, what they're doing wrong.

Today is Thursday, so of course we're gonna be smackin' some bitches on Thursday Tough Guy Talk. It's a lot of fun, Big Fan, you best not miss it.

Add another 4 paragraphs of meaningless dribble like this is going to be the next great production in media and you got it.

LISTEN to him talk about HIS PEOPLE and think would you like a guy who basically is close to your age, has a similar job telling people that you basically work for him?

he is just not meant to have his own show. He is fine with someone else filling in. When he has a show or is even aprt of the planning of the show, thats when the titanic thoughts start.

Funny even listening to him with Bernsie when he starts talking comics and it's obvious he is aware it's pretty foolish, so he asks Bernsie and Bernstein responds with a '''eeeahhhhh" which means, "Hey I don't mind talking about it, as it is pop culture, but you are way too into it and dont know when to stop, but go ahead."

Laurence's section could be called "THe People's Section COLON We do what we want" but then all threads/posts have to start off with at least one paragraph about hard bake. that's just how we do it.

"Big Fan, you're on the CSFMB... and you wanted to post about Laurence?"

"I learned that /\ from Steve Dahl. I think he knows a little bit more about radio then you Ron on the Ryan"
