Laurence has changed his twitter handle DROPPING the 670.

NBC must be around the corner.

Will he spend the first 1 minute of his 3 minute sportscast telling you about what he has written in his blog, what his new twitter handle is or where they can find him on Facebook.

Real question is what happens when Larry gets ousted at Ch. 5?

Obviousely, he has not overwhelmed anyone at Ch 5 as the only hiring taking longer than Larry's is the Cubs new a manager.

Personally I think Larry is aware that this position might be Hamp and Holmes temp like and if it does not go well, which I suspect it wont, Larry will be dropping in on CLTV asking for a camera.

If Laurence ends up at CLTV, I won't be watching. CLTV's not available on DIRECTV.

When Terry & Dan B. brought up the NBC5 deal with Laurence during crosstalk a few weeks ago, Laurence didn't exactly deny the rumors.

It'd be better if he were telling everyone where his cover band was playing that night....or asking a fantasy football expert about his team exclusively

Or talking about how many points he's laying with "his guy" or what funny thing his kid said last night while watching the game or what they call a Quarter Pounder in England....

I think Sir will be hired as a backup sports anchor which will allow him to retain his radio gig. I think he will be paid a sufficiently small number and be so non distinguishable that he will never get fired. Think of him as the TV version of Harry. Also, has there ever been an african american sports guy in this city that was fired? They either die or get promoted. John Kelly was a butcher on the air at a time before most people had cable and he lasted until he got a better gig covering hollywood.

This is HUGE news! Weeeee.

What's his current Twitter handle, then?

God I hope that he leaves the station, forever. Please. Or at least make him vacate his stupid 6-10 slot....I'll deal with his Teary & Dan Bears updates in exchange for him getting out of the "real" commuting time slot.

Maybe Mitch and Ch 5 are working out compensation?

Ch 5 keeps trying to pawn off Mike Adamle on Mitch.

Hold strong Mitch!

Maybe Jason Goff & Matt Abatcola will be next to go on to greener pastures. I'm so sick of the Boers, Bernstein, Goff, Abatcola, Holmes and their style of radio. The problem is Mitch Rosen thinks it makes for great radio. Mitch has heard this from me and other sponsors but he knows WSCR is the only game in town talking only Chicago sports.

Hard to believe Mitch doesn't take your opinion on sports radio seriously.

The ratings seem to show Mitch knows more than you. But that is not real surprising to most of us here.

No. That's not what's happening. Until Farris is gone, there is no need to rush into a new arrangement.

The deal is done.

There was a twitter reply from LoHo to Bernstein during a recent Bears game where he explicitly addressed 'Dan' even though it was already @Dan_Bernstein.

Dan, Dan, Dan, Dan, Dan, Uncle Teary, Dan.

I cringe everytime B&B go out of their way to say how great Larry looks dressed up.
Guys go to a car dealer... lots of guys in suits...not that impressive.
There's something about it that's got a hint of calling an NBA player "well spoken" after an interview.

#HaterWednesday coming up at 12:40 on Mac/Speigs. Daddy leaves and the kids go buck wild.

Anyone catch what Laurence was saying about changing his twitter account? Had some thoughts at the 12:10 mark.
