3 Way death match!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Larry telling Ranger not to talk down to him!! (Ok, someone else told me this, but I trust them!) Guessing Ranger doing updates and stayed on?????? Listening now though, getting heated... Ranger explaining ....not excuses... |

Lawrence is doing a great job of not listening and just waiting to talk. |

Bernstein talks down to Larry all the time. Larry cowers, takes it and usually says in that soft Larry voice "You're right, Dan. I was wrong." It's easier to stand up to Ranger when your the host and he's the lowley update guy. I've never seen a 5'6 160 pound Jewish guy intimidate a black man like Bernstein does Larry. It's quite something. |

Keeping Score wrote: Where is Herb fitting in this equation? Regardless, I'm rooting for Herb or Ranger. I didn't hear it but I figure that Larry yelled at Ranger and Ranger took out his anger by yelling at Herb. Radio chain of command. Host trumps update guy who trumps producer. Then Herb takes it out on the callers that he's screening. |

I guess Larry and herb had a disagreement about the Sox. Was about attendance, dont know what the arguement was but I think Larry started breaking bad on the Sox and "THE RANGER" came to the Sox rescue! Literally broke into the show, came on the air out of nowhere! It ended with Rongey stating something very close to this statement 'Sox fans are so concerned they will be called Cub fans for going to the ballpark when the team does not do well, but the Cubs fans going to the park allows the Cubs to do things the Sox just can't do! So they can't have it both ways" Herb and Larry agreed. So Rongey blamed you the Sox fan for them having to rebuild, with no bricks! |

Except his theory doesn't make sense for the last 2 seasons. Sox spent money. Top 5 or 6 pay roll, fans didn't show and they still sucked. So who gets the blame for that, Ranger? Kenny had the money with no fans. Do we blame the Kenny? No. Of course not. |

Like I said, I wouldn't give him the 6-10 slot. I'm just looking at it from the Score's perspective. Yes, I don't care what you say, I think a boring, safe, white like Ranger is something that Mich and Zim would covet over "wild childs" like drink and Goff. Ranger is a good company man. Low risk and low maintenence with him. It's a business. I'm trying to think like a radio executive. |

I think you would take the risk on the talented controvesial guy for a day part cuz that matters more. Ad rates would be the same no matter who hosts the 6-10 shift so why take a risk on someone? |

Beardown is a multiple user mult screen name. Its becoming obvious with all the promotion he's doing for bnb. No one is that obsessed w/ the inner workings of the score unless its a bit to fan the flames... |

I've got a Europeon Beardown that takes care of the weekends. |

Ranger sucks. He's way too salty & douchbaggy. Maybe North is in fact taking over the White Sox pre & post so Mitch is looking for somewhere else to put Ranger? I know where I would put him. HE GONE! Herb should never ever be allowed to speak on the air. |

I heard the exchange, and frankly, there was nothing wrong with what Ranger said (not blaming the fans, either - just trying to explain what he thought Kenny and Jerry's current philosophy is), and Larry got all douchey. |

If Larry has a Podcast of "His show" that would be nice...maybe he does? But there was no doubt some true feelings came through the radio regarding Rongey from Larry with the very serious "don't talk down to me" Of course it ended with the obligatory Score younger crew, "I love you man". Not even a "We can agree to disagree" But it's pretty obvious in Larry's world, Rongey just "Made the list" |

Holmes is thin skinned. He can't take anyone challenging him and this was a good example of him becoming territorial of "my show" as he put it when the conversation/debate was hardly tense. Another way of saying this, Holmes is a bit of douche. |
