Somebody posted that his name was Braxton and that he was a DJ so I did a youtube search. Seems like this would be him. I have no idea what the hell they're talking about or why it's interesting, but the panel in this video seems to think it's a facinating conversation. |

Now that man looks like he could have been a catching prospect at one time, maybe the scout got the names mixed up? |

Well played....but Kenny does have a history of getting the names mixed up in trades or where players might be. |

Not his brother. It was 54 seconds before the guy threatened to kick anybody's ass. |

If this were a thread about Mully's sister or Hanley's life partner, this thread would have been deleted a long time ago. The "no family" thing only applies to hosts that bigfan likes... |

What is so horrible about it? I didn't criticize him. He's a DJ. He must be known in the Chicago music scene. This video was put on youtube for public consumption. Somebody mentioned his name so I thought he'd have some DJ advertisement on youtube. I found this. I actually do recall Larry mentioning his brother on the air and saying he's a DJ. What exactly has been done here that is so horrible? I'll bet those that are mad about it really don't know why they're mad. It's really nothing. |

I agree with Beardown. This is the same as Bernstein's sister working on Iron Chef - that's been posted before. Laurence mentions Braxton all the time and how he's some kind of Chicago celebrity in the club scene. What's the big deal? I've actually been meaning to look him up due to the mentions from the show. |

Where did I say anything like that? You're the guy who took it upon yourself to look up someone that has nothing to do with anything, yet I'm the one that has something wrong with him? You all can have your Beardown, I'm going back to my self made rule of never responding to his posts or in his threads. |

Little Bernstein may be the only one who finds anything they make on the original Iron Chef palatable. |

i know nothing about braxton and have no opinion on him, it is conceivable that he is a cool dude and good people..i know some brothers who grew up in the same household who are polar opposites. |

Im not saying you're wrong, maybe that IS what Beardown intended...but its dangerous to assume that much. |

Wow. You guys are paranoid or you must really think I'm the devil. I really don't know what was so evil about anything here. I think Larry's brother is alright from that video. If I could ever get marrried, I'd hire him to do my wedding reception. I'll bet he could make a cool hip hop version of "ain't that a kick in the head" |

Bottom line There is absolutely no good reason for this thread other than for Beardown to get confirmation on a member of someones family. He knew bigfan wouldn't have a problem with it because it's Laurence... |

Kind of lame, but whatever. And there you go labeling people and their actions without knowing. It IS dangerous IMO. I said in my post that you may be right but that doesnt mean its a good idea to go around assuming people's intentions. And fine you wanna say you know Beardown's MO and know why he posts things....ok. Still doesnt make assuming people's intentions any better of an idea. But, again, SPmack knows why i made this post and that's final. Its definitely because Im backing up Beardown. It couldnt possibly be that Ive seen SPmack assume people's motivations and be very wrong before. |
