I assume he was buying diapers for the producers as a ball bust and not for their kids

No, he was bragging about how he helped people and now they don't talk to him because of his personal Vietnam aka Webio.

I think North is pretty generous with his friends. I read all of the self-pity Matt Weber was spewing and he just came off like a typical Millennial- a guy who thought he could start at the top. Those steaks tasted good while they lasted.

I think Weber taking that leap was a good risk. What was he making? Nothing right?

Offman is dumb for leaving that job if the six figure thing is true. What did he think was gonna happen?

I dont hear Chet complaining.

From Tim Bock:

Re: North. I've said before I take responsibility for leaving a job at the Score for Webio. I had a chance to make an actual living wage and

jumped at it. That's on me. It sucks that I'm out of the business because of it, but I'm doing ok for myself. That being said, I believe

had more knowledge of Hernandez's past then he says he did. He should take responsibility for that. And yes, the day we found out about

Webio, Mike/Bebe did help us out financially. However, speaking for myself, I have not heard one word from them since it all ended. I think

some form of apology for not having some idea of what was going on was expected, at least on my end. Taking no responsibility is cowardly.

At some juncture, a "How you doing, sorry I fucked you over" would have been appreciated.

If only North didn't put that gun to his head and tell him either his signature or his brains would be on that contract.

How old are your kids Spada? Webio was about the time that you stopped paying your bills at WSCR wasn't it? Maybe you know for sure cause they were being shipped to your house.

Yes, Mike did help us out financially as a form of back pay because our checks were bouncing. As a professed "part-owner" of the company, I found it to be a necessary step, not necessarily a form of extreme generousity.

As I mentioned, I'm doing fine right now. I left the Score because even as a full-time producer, the money was awful. I loved it there, it's what I worked for, but I couldn't justify the hours I worked with the salary I made to my wife or myself anymore. So I took a chance. It failed. Lesson learned.

I'm just saying that North should be accountable as well. He was the one negotiating our contracts and selling us on everything. Should I have trusted him? Obviously not.

As I mentioned, I'm doing fine now. Still get to go on with Hood/Laurence and talk MMA occasionally. Still talk to most of the guys there. Still write and keep myself occupied outside of my day-to-day job. Just felt the need to respond to what North had to say.

He said he bought baby formula for someone at the Score. Had to be a producer. The hosts make enough for baby formula.

1. Kind of low of North to bring it up.

2. I know the Score doesn't pay producers great, but I still think it's enough to buy baby formula. I mean if that producer is eating shame on him for not making sure his baby eats first.

3. I know they knew Pappy had money, but to ask a co worker for money for baby formula? C'mon. Have you no shame? I mean to specifically tell him "it's for baby formula". Isn't that just something you throw on the credit card and just not pay the credit card before you ask this of a co-worker? Who does that? I looked it up. Baby formula is like $25 for one container.

Kasey Kahne approves of the use of baby formula regardless of price or who has to foot the bill for it.

One thing I have never liked about North is how much he tells the world how generous he is...and didnt expect anything in return" but those guys who I bought Baby formula for, are not bad mouthing me?

In other words he does expect something in return. Just might not be monetary, but you are not question him and do everything he says...including derailing your career because of his idea.

Yep. That's typical North. Back him in a corner and he'll come back with something you did wrong or embarrass somebody else to show how great he is.

Lets remember who's talking here: North.

I wouldn't take his spin as an accurate reflection of reality. He is probably making shit up.

Did he say they asked for it?

Maybe North just knew the person was financially stretched and went out and did it to be a good guy (and to use it against them later).
