It was worse when ESPN would do them every 20 minutes. Once an hour is fine, or 30 seconds max at the bottom of the hour.

You were an e away from making that last sentence kind of uncomfortable for everybody. The straight talking street preacher definately wouldnt have approved.

4:00 Bulls bit is pruned to one short sentence.

While we're on the subject of annoying waste of time updates, can we get ESPN to stop the "crawl" giving score updates while they are airing a live game?

It is REALLY annoying when you are trying to watch a game with continual action like soccer or basketball and the thing is on constantly.

Seriously, if I'm watching an English Premier League game, I can wait for 45 minutes before I learn the score of last night's Spurs-Clippers game.

I've taken to putting duct tape over the bottom of the TV to stop this nonsense.

Speaking of scoreboard updates, how in the hell does Kerry Sayers work in radio? She does more stumbling & bumbling than the rest of the scoreboard guys put together.

She won't be much longer if she keeps calling Laurence "LoHo". Say "Larry" and she may be killed.

But I enjoyed knowing EXACTLY when the commericals would be.

I don't mind the updates, but memo to SCORE Sports Director Brendan McCaffrey...Change the closing line.

This is how all updates end right now on The SCORE:

"You're listening to The SCORE. Celebrating 20 years as the original and #1 rated sports station in Chicago. This is 'Chicago's SportsRadio 670 The SCORE & 670thescore.com. Chicago's Sports Station."

What's the problem with that? Too wordy.

This is how it should end:

"You're listening to SportsRadio 670 The SCORE & 670thescore.com. Celebrating 20 years as Chicago's #1 sports talk station."
