Laurence talked about getting a chance to listen to Rome while on Vacation in Arizona Said even though Rome does all the things he makes fun of, he enjoys listening. Thats a clone if I ever heard one Then he was doing a pretty funny impression of Rome. Not over the top like Caliendo. He didnt sound exactly like him but he had the tone and content down. Ya see, Laurence had just told a story of a less than stellar experience with a fellow passenger on his flight to AZ. The guy was a big dude who was obnoxious. People started sending Rome-ish emails so Laurence transformed into Rome and he made Joe O...Joe-Stu Dear Laurence I cant believe you brought me up on the air Signed, Jerry Krause Laurence (as Rome): See........thats what Im talking about clones....Unneccesary crackback on Jerry Krause.........they used to call him Crumbs I dont need e mails like that, Joe-Stu Back to Back good segments leading up to HW Rack him |

As weird as this may appear, at least in this form anyway, Jim Rome & Laurence will soon be on the same team. April 2nd is when "Jim Rome is Burning" premieres on CBS Sports Network, DIRECTV 613. Rack him! |

I don't picture Stuart Scott abruptly coming onto Rome's L.A. set to steal certain "properties" like Tom Brokaw did when David Letterman started his "Late Show" on CBS, circa 1993. |

"Rome" is the name of his new show. He will also appear on other CBS sports shows. This also includes stuff on Showtime that is sports related. |

Jim Rome made his unofficial debut on "The NFL Today" before the AFC Championship game between the Ravens & Patriots about 5 weeks or so ago. |

Yep. There was a lot going on there. The first two seasons were really good from what I remember. Scott Bakula playing a black woman in the 1960's....'nuff said. |

After Larry's tranny, he goes right into how he was in AZ for extra days due to Ch 5....I think now I have heard this story from him about 7 times, without actually listening to his show. and with that...we concluded our broadcasting day with WSCR |
