Post subject: | Another Sad Jesse Rogers Moment (09/13/06) |
On a special Hit and Run show with George Ofman, Jesse asks Chris Singleton why Freddy Garcia didn't throw something out of the zone with a 3-2 count to protect the no-hitter since Kennedy was sitting on the pitch that Garcia threw. Singleton responds by saying that it's easy to question players while watching, and that it's much more difficult during the heat of the game to think about things like that...weak answer I thought, but it's Singleton...anyways... Rogers completely reverses his original position, telling Singleton that there is no way he should have pitched something out of the zone to Kennedy, he should go for the no-hitter/perfect game, and that his original comment was tounge in cheek. Pretty funny stuff...I guess we can add wind bag to Jesse's name. |
