The Score goes up as WMVP stays the same!

Damn, MVP just got eviscerated. Awfully stupid of them to let the Sox go to SCR.

I think the Sox must have had some type of effect. It will be interesting to see if SCR can keep this up, ecspecially now that the Bulls will be on a CBS station so I assume their might be more Bulls coverage, or at least I hope. But also, this is only a trend, not an official book and I believe it's 12+, so it doesnt reveal much about the coveted 25-54 demo.

Coach, I'd like to know how S&C have contributed to driving the ratings down? They're on from 7-10 unless you are referring to when they filled in for MJH.

Let's not forget the last book they had the dominated both North and Mully and hanley shows.

Problem with MVP is if you're not a MJH fan there is no reason to turn that station on. The Sox are appointment radio and have clearly shifted the balance of power in the sports radio wars to SCR.

Ok, Marty so what happens next month when the Sox are done? Then tell me what's appointment radio on 670. Not really seeing it.

On a side note, if Drinky becomes a reg in the morning I'll def say goodbye to Mike and Mike.

So is this morning show switch permanent? If so I think its a great move and I think it shows Pappy was man enough to accept the move in order to bring his ratings up. They should promote the hell out of it and pretty much make the show about the two of them. Get Fred out of there...have him do his little movie reviews and sports updates.

ESPN turned me off by what they did with the midday show. MJH isn't bad, but got boring to me. Got sick of Mac blaming the listeners earlier this year when I thought it was him and his show getting boring.

North w/out Annie is much better than Mike and Mike. Murph, eh, Cub fans prob listen to him, not horrible. BB have their following, can be funny at times, but also very annoying, and if I find them annoying, I just turn them off (like them for football season though. Baseball is my love, but I hate the topic on sports radio, gets real boring quick for me (maybe it's the host), but I like takling football on the radio (guaranteed to get some storyline every week) and I like the Score better for this (except for Zaidman).

That's an ass whooping(2.2 to 1.4) unless I don't know what I'm looking at.

It is. If the Sox are the reason, isn't it interesting they come on after 6pm, when sportstalk's ratings (in general) take a large hit?

In a world full of exceptions, it makes me wonder people even try to figure out listenership "rules"...

Drinky is now on regularly with North? Had no idea. Are they going to rename the show to "Two Drunks Wow!" ?

But at least they're Chicago's drunks and not some sober guys from the east coast. So they got that goin for them...which is nice.

IMO they should move Fred back with Murph.

They weren't bad together.

I used to listen to their sox vs. cubs angles every day.

I'm right with you Panther. I can't stand either one of them, but together they were less irritating.

If MVP wanted to improve ratings, they would switch the awful DP show with C&S. They would beat the god awful Murph hands down. I am not a fan of C&S as you know, but they would certainly beat the useless, sucking Murph show. I think Carmen is a decent #2 guy, but I think Silvy is awful as the driver, his whiney nasally voice is only exceeded on the irration scale by his whiney useless personality, I think he is a dick, but just my opinion.

Doomed, have you ever actually met Marc Silverman? Just trying to figure out how you could call him a dick. Every damn time you bitch about Silverman all you can talk about is the sound of his voice. Is that your whole thing against this guy? I'm not really looking to go back and forth post for post like Nas and Coast did earlier today, because frankly it tired me out, but I think the fact you called him a dick when I'm pretty sure you have nothing to base that off of makes you look like a dick. :?

Sorry Doomed, but S & C would lose to Murph. There is much hate for Murph on this board. In fact, I might be the only one here who likes Murph.
