670 the score wanted me to be a sponsor of the roast yet Larry says roast will be in essence lame on the air.  This is what is wrong with the score a lot of the talent is clueless, arrogant,
and think they are bigger than they are.

No comic books, mom stories or lubed up shirtless wrestlers to talk about?

His name is Laurence.

Actually it doesn't sound like anything. Nothing specific has been announced.

I agree this event needs more information about it, but for an employee to think calling a company sponsored event lame is foolish.

I have said when Larry spends more time on the air and gets comfortable he comes out with some really and thoughts. This was a great example of why he should not have a show.

Imagine if Larry had these thoughts alone on the air, without Spiegs to call him and out and Mitch was not in the office to run in? Maybe spend 20 minutes of telling everyone how bad the event will be? Nice touch

Laurence made a comment about the description Matt gave. Something like "that doesn;t sound like fun". That was accurate, imo. Maybe Meat described it poorly, I don't know. But sitting down with people and asking them questions just sounds bad.

If it were anyone else (Mully for example) it would be fine. He's be "telling it like it is" or something. Becasue it is Laurence and there are a few (...very few) people here who don;t like him, then it's an issue...

I think this is the point. If Mac, North, or even Boers had said this "back in the day", he'd be a rebel that doesn't give a damn about the rules.

Lois: Oh, my God! Is my father gonna be okay, Dr. House?

Dr. House: He's in a coma, Mrs. Griffin. And listening to the sound of your voice I'd say he's the lucky one.

Barbara: [holding Carter's hand] Oh, dear, I do hope there's something to be done.

[Suddenly, a male nurse runs in carrying a book]
Nurse: Doctor House! If you're gonna save the patient, you'll need this.
[The nurse hands House the book. The front cover reads: "Rule Book"]

House: Get this thing OUTTA MY SIGHT!!!
[He throws the book out the window]

Peter Griffin: Well wait a second, how you gonna play by the rules if you don't have the ruleboo-[eyes widen] ohhhhhh.

While I agree with Larry that this event sounds lame, as an employee at the Score he certainly shouldn't say that on the air. But Mitch is soft & the Score is a country club. The inmates run the asylum.
Personally, I don't understand why anyone would shell out $100 to be a mic sniffer for a few hours with Score guys.

I just can't see how this tops the B&B Roast.

edit: that reminds me of something my neighbor told me that contradicts what Matty said at the B&B roast.
Matty said Rusty from Stickney was real. My neighbor is in a fantasy basketball league with "Rusty from Stickney."
He ("Rusty") is a retired U of Chicago professor and "Rusty" is in fact, a bit.

I love you.

Dr. House: My methods are a little unorthodox, Mr. Griffin. I think I can help.

[Dr. House punches Carter in his face]

Peter: What are you doing?

Dr. House: My job. Sometimes people fake being in a coma. This man's not. Unless of course, the first punch knocked him out. In which case, we won't know for some time. [looks at the camera] House

Peter: Road House

Dr. House: That, too.

I cut that part out because Family guy quotes are just finding their way to the board and I wanna tread lightly.

Glad you wrote it

Rusty is in fact a bit. He however is not a professor from U of Chicago. DePaul grad, roughly the same time as little Larry Holmes, went to the same highschool in fact. I have already said too much....the score mafia will now kill me.

Oh no, KI has taken Franks bit about me starting multiple threads.

huh?

I thought you starting multiple threads about the same thing was pretty well documented.

Didn't know I was "stealing Frank's bit"...

It's not a bit so much as it is fact that you start a lot of threads about the same damn thing.

This makes sense. Making fun of Stickney seems like a Flossmoor thing to do. Like, who else would. I wouldn't! I don't know a thing about it!

Loho should be suspended for a year and be replaced by Bill Parcells.
