I've said for years this isn't even a close competition.
It's Terry Boers. He brings nothing of substance to the show. No info, no news, no comedy, no connections, no entertainment. He is a waste of airtime and salary at this point and clearly drags down anything positive that Bernstine brings to the show. He had a "golden period" some years ago - it's clear that it is never going to happen again.
Several of the people they have dismissed/refuse to give time to are way, WAY better than this guy mailing it in every day.
The show flows so much better when he's gone and the difference is really noticeable when he comes back. As much of an asshat as Dan can be, Terry repeating the last few words of something Dan said as if that's exactly what he was going to say or following up what Dan says with a "Yup, that's what I think, too." is just insufferable.
Dan: "He's bad at football. He's constantly out of position and doesn't have the speed or awareness to recover. He's just not good."
Terry: "No, he's not."
Dan: "You're all looking at this the wrong way. He's more productive and more valuable because...[Dan talks for a couple of minutes]...and that's why he's incredibly undervalued.
Terry (In a very matter-of fact tone): "Incredibly undervalued, yes."
Or Terry will sigh and say something like "Yeaaaaahhh, you know, I mean, yeah...I figured it was something pretty close to that." as if the topic of discussion was one he's thought about long and hard, and, gosh darn it, grudgingly came to the same conclusion that Dan just did.
I'm sure everyone has had a co-worker who doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground but who will nod along and/or emphatically agree with the boss or another co-worker who does know what's going on. But if you pressed him to explain WHY he agrees, he wouldn't be able to give you a single credible reason.
That's who Terry is.

Here's an interesting question, that probably could deserve it's own thread, but who is better/worst:
Mully & Hanley or Mike & Mike?
I've actually listened to more Mike & Mike. I can't take Mully and Hanley's brainless guffawing when someone says something that wasn't even meant to be funny in the first place.
Mully: Hi Guest, thanks for coming on with us this morning. How are you?
Guest: I'm good, just having a cup of coffee...
M&H: AAHHHHHAHAAHAH!
Boers does that all the time, too.
Both of them constantly interrupt guests and callers with comments that distract the person on the other end of the phone, causing them to either say "What?" or to stop speaking altogether and then M&H either repeat their comment or tell them to go ahead. They sound like amateurs.
Then again I probably listen to Mike & Mike for about 20 minutes a day, so that's not really saying much about either. Either one of those shows are great at killing morning wood so you can take a piss.
