Used to be a fan but gave up around the late 90s. Too many sycophants kissing his ass.

How's the podcast? Does he have any regular contributors to fill the role of "yes, Steve, that was funny?"

Contributors? Not really. He's got about 5 staffers that all kiss his ass. That's really part of the schtick though. It's King Steve and all his minions.

It's completely a waste of time, which is exactly what I'm looking for at work or during exercise.

I don't need to listen to the SCR guys getting all hysterical about a Blackhawks loss (or whatever the emergency of the day is).

When it was free, I listened. Now that you have to pay, I'll pass. I have the stitcher radio app on my iphone and that pushes all the podcasts that I want to listen to it. Marc Maron, Adam Carolla, and Doug Benson are all free...and significantly more interesting and humorous.

The Joy Masada/Dave Mcnight era almost ended it for me. I thought he had a renaissance with Buzz Killman but post Meier was never anything I would pay for. I am absolutely shocked he has enough listeners who will pay for what he produces, and its relatively expensive.
