I have always found her voice annoying. You are right, it is low. Probably went to Laurence's class on broadcasting/interviewing.

It almost sounds too "AnchorManish" at times. I've always enjoyed broadcasters more when they just be themselves and talk to/with us... not at us. She really is pretty good at what she does and of course, she is very easy on the eyes. BTW - why do her hands always look so red?

I don't need her to be Walter Cronkite, just entertain me during shoot the puck and don't stumble over yourself in the post game interview, which admittedly can be quite the challenge for her, but a lot of that is due to the fact that every player answer somehow evolves into: "You guys are a great crowd!", regardless of the question. Underrated. She should have Pat Boyle's job.

Did you also know that women speak in a lower voice when they find someone attractive and are trying get you interested in them. That's a fact. I guess that's just their natural instinct. Needless to say, all women speak to me in their ultra high pitch voice.

I think she's better when she's at the anchor desk. Not so good when she's rink side at the Hawks games. But I'll give her a break. That's a stupid position that she's put in. There is no way to look good doing what she does.

Since you guys brought it up, I do notice her trying to keep that voice low. It's a deeper voice when she's at the Hawks game for some reason. She speaks a little bit more naturally when she anchors.
