Larry's "Hamp & Holmes" radio show probably lasted the exact amount of time as Larry's "Adamle & Holmes" Sunday TV show. Larry has now teamed with an ex Chicago Bear to achieve Chicago's all time worst show in radio and TV. That's pretty amazing.

I think Adamle & Holmes was worse.

"Hampton & Holmes" was a DISASTER from the getgo.

Adamle & Holmes is the worst. LoHo's yellow teeth and uncontrollable blinking, and Mike messing up.

Adamle is a reanimated corpse with the personality of a gastropod. If anything he was the albatross of the program. That said, he does look good for his age. Hey buddy. I don't think Larry was that bad as a television sports guy. The forum does not allow for him to project his wannabe playa persona. He just had to read the prompter and engage in occasional homoerotic banter with Adamle. Holmes is much worse on radio.

Larry probably doesn't even see this as him being fired, although that's exacly what it is. He sees it as just a corporate merger and he's the fall guy. I don't think he took the "Hamp and Holmes" cancellation as him being bad. He probably blamed that on Hampton.

He doesn't like it when people point the finger at his former partner.

Remember a few months back that there was speculation Larry was leaving the Score to do television full time? I don't know who believed it and for all I know Larry played that angle up to appear as if he was some Chicago media magnate. He was milking that shit on his show and changed his twitter handle around the same time. He must have thought he was finally in the big boys clubhouse. And now Larry has hit the proverbial glass ceiling, reduced to being a fill in for days when Mac is in rehab, Spiegel has his period, Bernsie decides it's okay to be Jewish, and Terry's ISDN line goes out. Back to the half hour shows before the Sox games. Poor Larry.

Well, Larry and Adamle are in tonight. No mention of this being their swan song in the intro. Adamle, for at least the 2nd time that I have seen of this show, fucked up and introduced Larry as "Laurence Home". He can't pronounce the "S" for some reason. Maybe it's the cocaine use.

Will they cry at the end? Will Adamle say "fuck it" and do a line in the final segment. Stay tuned. Somebody record it for youtube. This is a historic day in Chicago broadcasting. Possibly the last "Larry and Adamle" show.
