Just heard a promo for 1000 claiming that they are Chicago's "Number One Sports Station" and of course every promo the Score does they claim they are Chicago's number one sports station. I pretty sure that the Score kicks the crap out of 1000 show for show, ratings wise. Curious why 1000 would promote themselves in an untrue manner. I think I even heard Jurko say the same thing in a promo along with wanting to dazzle you with his Bulls thoughts. The only problem with that is he would have to be awake to give a thought. |

The Score did the same thing when MJH was leading ESPN to dominance. They can claim to be the #1 sports station and not tell you that it's with senior citizens. |

No way, any station that has the tour de force of Mully and Hanley can never occupy any spot other than #1, motherfucker. |

With the Score, you used to be able to tell when they lost the last book because they'd go from "Chicago's #1 Sports Station" to "Chicago's First Sports Station." |

Does anybody listen to either station because of their ratings, or length of existence ? I listen based on the product, but that's just me. The worst promos were from the time before twitter, when they would say, "as first reported by us". blah blah blah |

These "ratings" obviously don't include Internet "sports" "shows." |

It depends which station you listen to and who you believe. |

The parody songs they had today posterized the parody songs of Mac and Spiegs. It was like hearing Beethoven's "Appassionata" Piano Sonata in F minor, No. 23, Op. 57 - Third Movement and immediately following that up with something by Ja Rule. |

How about that huh? The "World's Greatest Dad" The best in the world, which means I'm better than just #1. Well I don't know how official any of these rankings really are. |

Fluffy marketing... as long as it's subjective they can pretty much say whatever they want. |
