I could do without it, but that's never gonna happen. It is a huge story, and it's chum for the ignorant and stupid. And it gives Bernsie something to talk about besides sports, which I think is his dream job. Sometime i get the vibe that he feels he is dumbing himself down by talking sports with the cretins. I believe Dan would rather be Roe Conn than Jim Rome.

Or..........and stay with me here.........listen to a different fucking show. I know it's difficult, but I trust you can figure out how to use the radio/internet on your own.

Here's a test:

How do you feel about J. Hood's interviewing skills?

There is one all-local sports station, plus one that is half local.
Where is this trial at again?

I'd be in favor of limiting the coverage/discussion/preaching of the Sandusky stuff.

Well put.

Maybe I should turn my radio to Mike Francesa?

robots hmmm...we live in a world that is progressing into a vast arena in which mankind has never lived, never even comprehended, the stadium of human-enhanced computer dominance. It is a place where intelligence, real or artificial, will be all. Scientists say that by as early as 2045 there may well be a computer that dwarfs mankind. By then, according to the cover story in Time, a computer might exist that will surpass ‘‘the brainpower equivalent to that of all human brains combined."

I find this troublesome.

You have to admit that jury selection was quite a thing.

There are way too many choices now for people to be as bothered about things on the radio as they seem to be. Sports talk is plentyful these days.

I've liked the Sandusky coverage so far, but when they talk about something I'm bored with, It isn't as if someone is forcing me to listen to them. I have other options...

I'm all for options. I just want Chicago-based talk on my Chicago station and I'll go online and check in with whatever the sports station is in Pittsburgh for my Sandusky coverage.

Can't do it. The story has to be told, and it is as much as a sports story as it is a hard news story.

Unfortunately, it's the tip of the iceberg. Monday's when the trial is scheduled to begin.

They should combine the bios with "Who's your guy!?!".

It would be scintillating radio.

I'll give the show until around 1:45 and if they continue to kill the story I will go to music the last hour of work.

I have to admit, I'm a bit interested in their fascination with the case (What? In a county with a population less than the Rockford area, where the largest employer is PSU, there are jurors with PSU ties? SHOCKING!). For about 10 minutes, then I'm ready to listen to other topics.

This is a story about a former football coach. Are we to believe that the OJ Simpson trial should have been covered primarily as a sports issue because OJ was a former football player and sideline reporter?
