I'm trying to figure out why Wise is watching a 3-run homer go over his head in the latest promo.

i was cleaning up some records the other day and i saw some notes i jotted down on a record sleeve.... one was from '09 right around the time of buehrle's perfect game. intrepid reporter david "schumouse" schuster was doing updates and said of wise's catch "it was the most important of the many big catches he's made in his career"

really david, what other huge catches has dwayne wise made in his career? if he made those huge catches wouldn't he be more than the 25th man on a roster bouncing from team to team? while i allow room for potential sarcasm in my score updates, i don't allow room for potential bullshit so david schuster WHO YOU CRAPPIN!?!?!

my all-time best non-called-in who you crappin crap was to philip daniels for saying nothing... you see, when the redskins rode the tragedy of sean taylor's death to a playoff run, they won the clinching game by 21 points, sean taylor's jersey #. when that happened philip daniels said after the game "do you think that's an accident?" --- then in the first week of the playoffs, the redskins lost by 21 points and philip daniels said nothing.... "do you think that's an accident?" philip daniels: who you crappin?

That "Appreciate the Game" tagline that 670 The SCORE has used not only coincides with the White Sox 2012 motto, but has been used in SCORE promos for all the daily shows from "Mully & Hanley" to Laurence Holmes' nighttime show on the Sox pregame, in commercials during games, and during breaks on Chris Rongey's postgame. The tagline also coincides with WSCR's 20th Anniversary as Chicago's first true sports talk radio station.

The point I'm trying to make is this. They only use that "Appreciate the Game" tagline during Sox games on The SCORE. The rest of the time The SCORE is still known as "Chicago's Sports Station."

No, they were doing a thing a while ago where they were like "The White Sox Appreciate The Game...and Mac and Spiegs appreciate the game from 9 to 1!" It was poorly done and stupid.

It is kinda stupid trying to intertwine the White Sox 2012 motto and The SCORE's 20th Anniversary, CH. It only happens during Sox games though...

No, it doesn't, because I heard them during B&B quite a bit and I don't exactly log a lot of minutes with White Sox play-by-play. Who am I, bigfan?

You won't hear these promos again until Friday night when the White Sox & Royals start the second half of the 2012 season on The SCORE & the TOYOTA White Sox Radio Network.

I hope I never hear them again in my life. They made the station sound like it's run by a bunch of overeager fanboys.

Well, that, and basically every on-air personality.
