We have pretty much established that today is Wednesday (again assuming you are reading this on Sept. 5, the initial date these words of wisdom are being made available here in cyberspace). That means tomorrow will be Thursday, unless perhaps you live in a galaxy that doesn’t work that way. Thursdays mean it is time once again for “Sports & Torts” with co-hosts David Spada and Elliott Harris on talkzone.com at noon Chicago time. If things go as planned — and occasionally they do — for the highly acclaimed interview program (well, it is treated that way in the Spada and Harris households), September Playboy Playmate Alana Campos will be on the program. Sadly, she will not be in the studio. Oh, well. Maybe next time. Also on Pro Football Hall of Famers Randy White and Dwight Stephenson.

Brazilian beauty Alana Campos is Playboy's Miss September 2012, but she's been wowing South America as a bikini model since she was 15! And now that she's made it onto the pages of Playboy, she has her sights set on another magazine...

Hall of Famer Dwight Stephenson excelled at center for the Miami Dolphins for eight seasons from 1980 to 1987. An All-American at the University of Alabama, the 6-2, 255-pound Stephenson lived up to all his advance notices as a Dolphin, by becoming the premier center in the NFL.

Randy White The “Manster” (half man, half monster) was so quick that he was actually drafted to play linebacker. But Tom Landry wisely moved him to defensive tackle. And the rest is history. Randy White remains one of the greatest defensive linemen to ever play in the NFL. He was named to nine consecutive Pro Bowls and was NFL Defensive Lineman of the Year in 1978. He also was co-MVP of Super Bowl XII.

All this on Sports & Torts with hosts Elliott Harris and me.

sports and torts is a horrible name. nobody knows what a tort is off the top of their head, and if they're curious they have to look it up. if they do, they're like "oh...." and then they embark on a picardian facepalm because the name tries way too hard to be cutesy and rhyming and all that.... it's just like.... really? sports and torts?

just my $.02 here.... obviously i'm going to have no influence on your position because you've got the fat guy "haters gonna hate" strut going on and at this point you've been through countless rounds of people ripping your show for its plethora of relatively/obscure guests and it's obvious that posting here is an act of defiance that hearkens back to the aforementioned image meme....

it's just like, gotta be real, whenever i see "sports & torts" i just kind of exhale.... you know? that said god bless ya spada keep on living the dream like those old nick bakay segments on sunday morning sportscenter and have a nice day.
