this is just fantasy speculation... what if the Score pitted Murph vs. MJH in their drivetime slot? who do you think would win? Murph apparently gets strong ratings, from what i've read. is it a radio necessity to have a two- or three-person team on for PM drive? if so, how about Murph and Fred (or someone else)? just wondering... |

MJH has consistently beaten anyone put up against them who talks sports. They really only lose to a few non sports talk shows as they have much wider audiences. Murph would get killed because it would be cubs overload. |

Going up against MJH is much different than going against the Dan Patrick waste of time. |

I'm not a big Murph supporter, but in the not to distant past when he had the evening show he beat MJH during the period they went head-to-head (6-7 pm). |

I believe that was during the baseball season and the Sox pregame shows were on often. |

It was discussed on this board at the time but I don't recall the exact thread. |

SID...On another topic, how are you able to get the quotes separated? It used to happen automatically in the past but something changed several months ago. |

that stat about the 6-7 p.m. ratings circa 2004 prompted the question... i think he could give 'em a run. i love MJH, but i think it'd be fun to see. i think Murph might have a large, silent listenership... |
