Thanks to ABC's "Dancing with the Stars", not to mention ABC News' live coverage of the third and final Presidential Debate Monday night in Boca Raton, FL, Bears' fans looking for the game vs. the Lions at Soldier Field (and don't have cable or satellite) on ESPN's "Monday Night Football" can find the game locally on WCIU 26 The U. While "U" will hear the voices of "MNF", Mike Tirico, Jon "THIS GUY!" Gruden & sideline reporter Lisa Salters on BOTH ESPN & WCIU Monday night, as well as Chris Berman from ESPN's Bristol, CT studios at halftime, the Weigel-owned Independent has announced their own pre & postgame lineup of talent for this Monday's game vs. Detroit.

Hosting WCIU's locally produced pre & postgame show is veteran Chicago sportscaster Jill Carlson. She'll be joined by former Bears' defensive end Alex Brown, along with Comcast SportsNet's Dan Jiggetts and his former "Monsters of the Midday" partner, FOX Sports Radio's Mike North. That's not all. The voices of sister station WWME 23 MeTV's high school football & basketball "Game of the Week", Jim Blaney & WCIU/WWME Sports Director Kenny McReynolds, will report live from Soldier Field before & after the game concludes. Hyundai will also serve as presenting sponsor of The U'z 30 minute local pregame, starting at 7P, as well as after the simulcast with ESPN around 10:30P-ish Monday night from both the Lakefront & The U'z studios at 26 N. Halsted.

The above lineup will also do the heavy lifting for the Bears' third & final "Monday Night Football" game, Monday, November 19th when they face former Bears' QB turned 49ers' HC Jim Harbaugh and his current team in San Francisco.

I'm sorry, but did you say Mike North would be commentating?

Thank GOD I have ESPN. Mike North makes Chris Carter and Chris Berman look like Mensa members.

Not just "Seinfeld", Spmack. "U" will also see countless plugs for "The King of Queens", "Rules of Engagement", "Tyler Perry's House of Payne", "Tyler Perry's Meet the Browns", and "Are We There Yet?" during the Bears' game Monday night, in addition to all the ESPN plugs & Stuart "Booyah Boy" Scott walking towards our TVs to promote "SportsCenter" after the game on the "Worldwide Leader". BOOYAH THIS! See what I did there?

Montel's talk show also aired on WPWR 50, long before they became My Network TV.

Can we expect an on-set visit from Rikki Lake during the pre or post game shows?

No chance of that. I don't know if Ricki's even a football fan...

Good.

Now I can finally get some info on payday loans. 35% interest is a pretty good deal but I bet there is something better out there.
