1-5. Put Silvy and Carmen back to 9-12

While I am a fan of their show, and think it is better than Sean and Steve, I disagree with putting them back on nine til noon.

A lot of people still wouldn't like them, and I think Silvy might benefit with new partners. Silvy should be paired with a Chet or a Grobstein, or anyone else with a strong and like-a-ble personality from 9 'til noon.

JD and Hood should have a regular show at night. They work great together and are entertaining.

Carmen doesn't really do much for me as a talk show host... he's not brutal, but I liked him better doing SportsCenter and Bulls pre/post. I'd probably assign him to cover the Bulls for the station, maybe help JD with Bears or Bruce with baseball, and assign him weekend shows.

I would say put a local show on for the morning drive, but they can trot out M&M and beat the MNMS - if it isn't broke, don't fix it.

I'd rather hear Jim Rome live than Dan Patrick over the lunch hour.

Strap your cart to the Bulls this year and see how that can drive you. (Much like the Score did with the Sox)

Poach drinky from the Score and get him a regular time slot.

Doug, you and everyone else know where myself, Wheaton Zack, and Ryan stand. They aren't ever going to be able to unload Dan Patrick, and lesbian orgys don't translate well over the radio. Therefore, I'm okay with this one change.

Guys, the Bulls are no longer on MVP. Starting this year, it’s CKG. But please, by all means, cover the team…

I like the idea of bringing Drinky over with a permanent show offer. That being the case here's what I'd do as the PD.

6-10 Silvy and Carmen-Easier listen not screaming and arguing in morning
10-2 Hood and Drinky-Hood was great with Bernsie and Drinky is Dan Jr.
2-6 MJH-Compete head to head with B&B
6-10-Salisbury and JD-Sean is a little better with JD and you're stuck with his contract. Stick his ass late night though and make him suffer

I can't see how this lineup wouldn't destroy the Score in a couple months time, provided they are allowed to eliminate that much national programming during peak times of the day. Make it happen n00b PD!!!

1-Dump Harry and his drivel and put in someone else in the 3 slot on the MJH show.

2-Put DP show on at midnight and find a legit local show for the time slot.

3-Steal Drinky from the score, leave the others there

4-Can the S&R show - an emergency test at the slot would be more enjoyable

5-For now, leave the Mike and Mike show on to kick North's ass and continue to embarrass the loser.

5-9 Mike and Mike
-Why rock the boat? They beat the competition in how many straight books?
9-12 Carm and Silvy
-Yes, give the boys their slot back. At least they'd be able to do their show from the studio, unlike the current slot holders at either station.
12-3 Coppock on Sports
-I would give him a seasonal co-host. No way I'd let him go solo. Mongo during FB season, JD during baseball, Hood for a more college focused show, etc. Plus, this may be the lead-in Mac's been yearning for.
3-7 MJH
-Enough said.
7-10 Dan Patrick Show on tape delay
-Nothing on his boring show is all that timely anyway. Plus, during the summer months, might as well sacrifice this crap against baseball down the dial. Non-Sox fans might find this drivel more listenable than local programming anyway.
10-?? Jim Rome on tape delay
-Who cares.

Weekends
Give me Hood and Silvio on NCAA FB. I'm not a NCAA fan, but their show on WSCR was entertaining enough for me to listen to.

While I thought a lot of these proposals have been a little foolish or I haven't been a fan of them, LJH has a really solid lineup, and one that seems really doable. Nice job, for your suggestion I'm awarding you a jersey at Triple Threat Sports!

No disrespect to Jeff Dickerson, but the Bears coverage SUCKS at ESPN AM1000.

I was under the impression that Sean Salisbury would be much more active with Bears coverage. I believe he even said that he knows more about the Bears than their beat reporters - which is a pretty huge insult to Mully, Mulligan, Biggs, LeGere, etc.

I wonder is Salisbury has ever STEPPED FOOT at Halas Hall since being hired.

The Score has BLANKET COVERAGE: Zaidman, Holmes, Hub, and Uncle Fuzzy will forget more about the Bears than Seany Cakes will ever learn.

Salisbury has been a major letdown to me. He said he'd be relocating here. To borrow a term from Bored and Brainy "Sean Salisbury, who you crappin?"

I know they can't cause they signed a Jaques Jones kinda contract with him but you gotta ditch Salisbury (and Rosenbloom). Awful. You just feel like that Salisbury thinks he's just a little better than you. Oh, and get on hotornot.com already and leave us out of it. No one gives a blasted fu*k about if you're hot. We don't care. We're dudes, dude.

I definatlely enjoyed Carmen and Silvy better, and would they not just be a ball to listen to with Mariotti? I know some folks, 'specially Sox fans might think he's a pud, but he does say and write some pretty contraversial stuff, and with a hothead like Silvy it could make for interesting radio. Better than Rome was. Jesus, listening to Rome was like gettting a root canal.

I agree about Patrick though. he is boring and his show has like 15-20 times an hour where I need to look at my radio and make sure it didn't turn off or something, he has so much dead air. I can't tell you how many times I have looked at the radio and shouted "Say something already!!!" at it. He's much better with Olberman. I know he's like a great great grandaddy of ESPN but really man, lets get the ball to someone with a pulse. he's.....just..........too.........damn.........................boring.

Lets also ditch the traffic reports. They're too short to be of true value to the average driver. There are more roads than just the 3 tollways they cram into the 10 seconds they allow. When folks suggest that on this board, they get replies like "Just switch to 780 if you want traffic reports". Well we do, and sometimes don't change back for 15-20 minutes. Oops. Maybe that's one reason why 780 is usually tops of the ratings.

A few questions for the management....

1. How hot is Marti (or is it Marty) Jones? Cause I can't remember one freakin day where she didn't mush mouth the traffic report or the ad copy. Radio people should be a bit more, I dunno, articulate? Do other listeners find that cute or something?

2. Tell me if what's his name got fired for going on the air with a mouthful of shredded wheat. When I heard that I thought for sure he would get suspended or something, then he just never really came back.... and if so what's up wiith the Marti Jones double standard?

Um. That's it.

I know this isn't in Craig's realm but someone else brought up Patrick. He can be okay at times but there are two main things he needs to change.

1. Constantly telling listeners what he's GOING to be talking about. He spends more time doing this than actually talking about the things he planned on talking about. I can accept some teasers but the entire show seems to be teasers now to fill in time because you have nothing to say.

2. No more "should ____ be in the hall of fame" discussion/comments. It's boring and doesn't matter. He keeps talking about if Billy Wagner should be or not and the guy isn't even retired yet. Let the guy play and if he gets in then he gets in. The discussion is pointless and boring. Stop doing it.

One more thing is please stop talking about "Salon Paas" medicated patches. I have no idea what they do and you sound very gay during those reads. That is all.

Here's some Marti Jones statistical information:

Who knew this 5'6, black-haired, 100% Italian was destined for stardom. As a child she would not speak, NOW you can't shut her up! This Chicago native exercised her boisterous vocal cords as she made head cheerleader in 7th & 8th grade. Marti then took her "under-appreciated" talents and auditioned for the Honey Bears and Luv-A-Bulls. This "budding" talent graduated from Columbia College with a BA Degree in Broadcast Communications. Her "come hither" sound has led her to radio stations, both in Toledo, Ohio and back home to Chicago where she presently occupies a studio at Shadow Broadcast/Metro Networks. (Of course most of her time is spent trading jabs with Geno in the morning). The Princess is also has the voice, the look, the personality to capture your attention... Just ask her.

Summary: She'd be an acceptable cock receptacle.

Stumbling through traffic reports umpteen times a day constitutes "stardom"?

I guess she never became a Honey Bear or Luv-a-Bull since it says she only auditioned. Anyone can freakin' audition. Is that something you really want to put in a PR piece?

as for The Princess comment...
