As many people know by now, Jason Goff no longer co-produces 670 The SCORE's "Boers & Bernstein Show" weekday afternoons, let alone hosting live, local sports talk from time to time. You wouldn't know it if you visited 670thescore.com though. While Goff is now hosting evenings at the new CBS Radio-owned FM sports talker known there as The GAME in Atlanta, Goff's name & photo STILL appear on The SCORE's Web page here. That seems kinda odd. |

No, he never left. He was hosting a show with Mac yesterday. |

Boilermaker Rick wrote: No, he never left. He was hosting a show with Mac yesterday. He was a guest on the "Mac & Spiegs Show" here in Chicago yesterday to preview the Falcons' "Thursday Night Football" game vs. the Saints, Rick. A different Mac, I believe, co-hosts with Goff at night at The Game in Atlanta. |

Two possibilities: 1) Jason didn't really leave the Score on a permanent basis, and is just "on assignment" not unlike a ballplayer sent down for conditioning, and the Score plans to use him again very soon in some capacity, perhaps after the "urban sports talk" experiment meets its planned obsolescence with the advent of C-B-S-SPORTS-RA-DI-O. 2) 670thescore.com is operated by functional illiterates who can barely double-click a program icon, let alone program a website. |

I've read less than flattering things about 670thescore.com, not to mention CBSChicago.com for that matter. |

You've heard? Just go to the damn site and marvel at the typos and 3rd grade sentences all over the place. |

Well I see you changed your post. I was more going in the direction of "you don't need to learn secondhand that the Score's website is amateur hour." |

I already explained this, SHARK. It's just popular demand. Can't speak for the Chicago metro population at large, but half the posters here apparently have a photo of Goff in a heart-shaped frame next to their bed. |

it seems fairly obvious to me that Jason was allowed to go to hotlanta to train for his upcoming gig in a year or two, which will be replacing Terry to pair with Dan. |

Keeping Score wrote: Jason Goff hails from Evanston, attending Evanston Township High School and later, Southern Illinois University. Jason has been employed by The Score since February 2000 and has tackled many tasks including producing for Jiggets and Buffone; McNeil and Jiggets, J Hood, and presently The Boers and Bernstein Show. Jason has been producing The Boers and Bernstein Show for the past 4 1/2 years. Jason has been covering the Bulls for two years and is a regular substitute host on the Danny Mac show. Jason has also hosted at the station since 2003, as well as covered events such as the Final Four and Championship Boxing. Jason currently resides in the West Loop. I think they're just lazy. Maybe they lost the password. |
