He's a rough listen for sure. I had to switch the station after his breakdown of the Bears/Vikings game tomorrow. Basically his reason for the Vikings winning is the fact that they are due and the Bears don't have Urlacher. Thanks for the insight Jesse. Please stay away until hockey comes back. |

I had forgotten about his existence on the sports talk landscape until hearing him today. He is number 2 on the suck list for chicago sports radio. He was a good producer but has absolutely no business being on the air on any station. His thoughts are weaker than the most meatball of callers and he has no ability to speak. He has none of the qualifications necessary to be on the radio. What do he and Tiny have in common that keeps them on the air? |

After my original post ,he later read a text where somebody complained about the "softball" questions to Hoyer. He told the texter to get his own radio show. Yeah, real clever. He did read the critic's comment,so I give him credit for that. |

Jesse was a great producer back in the day. Gets as much credit as anyone for that station making it. He hounded credible guests. He is so dumb he didnt know the meaning of the word NO, but he got gets credit for doing the job. Let me just say , he really is an idiot, not even that nice of a guy, huge ass kisser. |

I was in my office today preparing for a 3 day strategic budget planning meeting with my staff in Florida next week, & my Sports Radio choices were Rongey & White Sox Weekly, or Jesse Rodgers. I chose Jesse. Who in the hell wants to listen to White Sox talk in December? How did WSCR get roped into this deal? |

This was Jerry taking Mitch to school in business 101. While I think radio guys know the radio business, thats about all they know and they think the world revolves around them. Here is Jerry saying he is opening up the Sox rights for bids when they are at ESPN. Mitch and WSCR load up with a package of WSOX perks for the Sox. Including white sox weekly , all year round, everything he can do and throw money at them. While ESPN didnt even make an offer to renew them. and thus we get late Sept Farmer over Doug and OB on Sundays. |

It's one of the best things about Biggs and Mulligan. They are very aware they are disliked by many at Halas Hall and they do their job, despite what the results are. Paul Sullivan has been pretty harsh so far with the new regime in Cubland. He does preface it with the understanding of rebuilding, but I dont think he is loved at Wrigley like he once was by Hendry. It's not like "Hey Gonzo, can you write this" on the South Side or KC "I will hold back the bad stuff" Johnson |

I introduced myself to Jesse at a remote. He said" You are who, and from where?" |

I think Sulli is a real long time old Cubs fan. The disgust as a Cubs fan right now is Ricketts taking 2 years to determine he needed to rebuild. This after 2 years of Due Diligence to buy the team. My focus on Theo is that he walked in Day 1 and said "Break it all down"...and I have a feeling Tommy Boy revised his excel projections for Dad, every week...with a "This guy didn't_____" so I need more money and how much longer this might have gone on...who knows |

But it's a fine line, don't you think? Of course reporters shouldn't be parroting some company line handed to them by the teams they cover. But I think it was Abbatacola who mentioned just last week that everyone knows the kind of answers Lovie is going to give. Nothing is going to change that. So when Biggs asks that "tough question", all he is really achieving is to annoy the guy he is trying to get the answers from without actually getting them and possibly limiting his own future access. |
