Now I could be wrong, but I swear I have heard Doug Buffone mention he was MVP of the Senior Bowl when he was in college at Louisville? He did not harp on it at all, it was actually just a passing mention a few times. I happen to be looking for past NFC MVP's on Google and found senior bowl MVP's and Doug's name is know where on the list? I would never accuse Uncle fuzzy of lieing, because he may have felt he played well enough to be MVP and thus awarded it to himself??? Yes, I have heard Doug mention this. But he also has said that Urlacher was the Senior Bowl MVP, too. Urlacher, though, isn't listed as an MVP, either. So my guess is that both were named defensive MVP of the Senior Bowl, not overall MVP. |

I have also heard doug say that he could smell a baseball bat burn after he used it to hit a pitch....he would not be uncle fuzzy if he had stories completely correct. |
