Say what you want about the guy, but the Brown's special for $1 is actually a pretty good deal (although yesterday he claimed it was the beef and when I got there it was actually sausage). I'm not too crazy about Brown's fried chicken but I have to admit their sandwiches aren't half bad, especially for $1

It's a different sandwich each day for $1. The hot dog and polish don't thrill me for $1 (although it's still not bad), but an italian beef or a combo for $1 is a pretty sweet deal.

I heard him say Monday though that this is the last week for it

i first saw GBV about 10 years ago at the University of Dayton... it was the Mitch Mitchell, Tobin Sprout lineup with Spin writer Jim Greer filling in on bass. man that was a good show.
