Sidney Green is probably nothing more than a stopgap. While he'll be in the CSNC studio with Mark Schanowski tonight at halftime & postgame of the regional sports network's coverage of the Bulls/Wizards' game in Washington this eve, I don't think he's there beyond the end of this season.

There are a couple of other guys I'd rather hear than Green. One of them worked the Kansas City bracket about 2 weeks ago with Kevin Calabro on Dial Global/NCAA Radio Network's coverage of the Men's Basketball Tournament and also has done some national analysis on ESPN Radio's coverage of the NBA. The other is Chuck Swirsky's partner on the ESPN Radio/Bulls Radio Network at courtside. I'd rather hear Will Perdue or Bill Wennington instead of Sidney Green on Comcast SportsNet Chicago next season if Kendall Gill isn't brought back next fall.

While I also put it as a longshot, dont be so sure, he has one fan , which is enough in the case of Jerrys announcers.
