| Post subject: | Why do they let Intern Cathy talk? |
She has no incentive to say anything that's not ass-kissing, so she makes any show she talks on worse. Larry wants to be like his guy Steve Dahl. He needs to be reminded that Steve Dahl sucks. |

Now he's just some loser pretending to do radio in his basement. Guys, Steve Dahl seems to have found a new lease on life with his "Podcast". He's made enough money in his radio career and knows the writing is on the wall. Personality-driven radio is ancient history, and I think Dahl found that out first hand when he was the ONLY live voice on 104.3 FM when K-Hits was known as JACK FM a couple years ago. I think once 104.3 FM fired Dahl as a result of disappointing ratings, I think Dahl knew the end was near. As far as Intern Cathy on Laurence Holmes' nighttime SCORE is concerned, I don't mind when she's on from time to time. In fact, I not only follow her on Twitter @InternCathy, but she's actually sent me back a few replies on the Blackhawks that she's Tweeted about. |

Personality-driven radio isn't dead. Sports talk is killing it in the ratings now (and has been all along; we worshiped a false idol with Arbitron diaries) because it's live and original content. Chicago still has talk show hosts. It doesn't have Jack FM. Which is dead? |
