Looking forward to Thursday's "Sports & Torts" with co-host Elliott Harris at noon Chicago time on Talkzone.com. Guests will be Jamie Barwick Chicago Bliss tight end (who agrees all the players fit that description) and baseball's Ralph Branca. Branca talks at length about standing next to Robinson on April 15, 1947 when Robinson broke big-league baseball's color line. And he has a few choice words about the New York Giants and the home run that Bobby Thomson hit off him to win the 1951 National League pennant at the Polo Grounds. I callnbullshit. Branca died in 1982. His body was soon inhabited by ruby testicles-the first bliss tight end who died under mysterious circumstances....... |
