Post subject:  New PD - Justin Craig

I had the chance to meet Justin and his wife at Friday night's remote. He was a nice guy, good head on his shoulders. He seemed really happy to be in Chicago and you could feel his enthusiasm to make his mark here. The thing I found interesting was that he doesn't seem brainwashed from the mothership like a lot of people suggested on here. I think its going to be really interesting to see how he handles the nine to noon slot within the next six months. I wouldn't be surprised if he changed it up or made a move no matter what kind of contracts are in place for that slot. I also enjoyed the fact that he was enamored by watching Harry walk around and just be Harry. He kept saying to me, "Man, that Harry's really something, isn't he?"

When I was a young lad, I once called the Eddie Schwartz show to discuss a professional wrestling card at the Rosemont Horizon.

Coast, love the Quad City humor......

I just remember TC sitting at his desk when he first got into work staring at Baywatch for the first two hours while Dan Pearson worked his ass off.

Harry is 'King of the Room' at all remotes. Don't underestimate his value to the success of MJH.

Any ideas as to why this doesn't translate to radio?

I used drink down there with Mike Kenneally; I never knew him when he was here in Chicago, but the Quad cities is great for drinking & sex.

and riverboat gambling. I can WIN on THOSE boats. However, the Bellagio it ain't. After her first trip to a Q-C boat, my wife asked me "does everybody in Iowa always wear baseball caps all the time?"

From the Quad Cities Vistiors Bureau -

One of the earlier entrepreneurs of the area was John Deere. Drawn by the mythic tales of drunkenness and promiscuity the area was known for, in 1848, John Deere opened a factory in Moline, Illinois, to produce the first steel plow. Little did the locals know that Mr. Deere had other plowing in mind.

Fueled by the wild energies of debauchery and self-gratification, Deere and Company operates not only as a major local employer, but as an international corporation specializing in the production of agricultural implements and a world leader in the promotion of wanton promiscuity and norm-breaking sexual expression that comes with the excessive use of alcohol.

Sex and alcohol have played a role in the development of the Quad Cities and its impact is still felt today as a destination for those who are looking to forget their troubles in a bottle while engaging in dangerous sexual behavior.

Come...Get Some...in the Quad Cities!

Harry is a prime example of what you never want a son to grow up to be.

That's about 3 posts per day. Subtract the posts in the wagering section as that is Coasts side job. That is not a lot of time spent on the board.

Sorry to offend. It was just a joke. It wasn't like he had 3800 posts or anything. That might have been different.

Hmm...maybe I should be retracting that statement...
I'm not for sure if the honeymoon for this new PD ever started, but it's definitely over.
