That's an old Dahl-Brandmeier-Mathews invention. Mitch was Matthews producer back in those days and known as Chunga

Beat me to it, but yeah that's the first time I heard hosts commingling between shows. It's value depends on the talent doing it.

I remember a great one where Dahl & Meier walked in on Chet's show because he was always interrupting them. Chet went apeshit, screaming at them and apologizing to his then wife. Fucking hilarious. Chet's always taken himself too seriously.

IIRC, "Matthew" Meier was doing overnights when Dahl started doing mornings on the Loop... and the original "crosstalk" was born.
