This comes up annually with him. He really likes to celebrate himself. He throws his own parties. Said he made his producers attend.

You're 38. Stop throwing yourself birthday parties. If nobody else wants to throw one for you, you're not worth celebrating. Cuz I doubt the producers would have took him out if he didn't plan it. He probably paid for them for the love of god.

Because I seem to recall him talking about his birthday for years. And bragging about the massive celebrations that he organizes for himself. I can't even imagine doing that. That's just shameless. At his age, down right embarrassing.

Larry: Hey guys, it's my birthday. I'm planning a big bash for my self. Who's in for celebrating me!!!! It's gonna be really, really great. Sooooooooooo awesome.

Joe O: Uh.....Ok. I ain't buying

Herb: Alright. I ain't paying either.

Larry: No problem. I'll pay for you guys to pretend that you love me.

Beardown is starting to remind me of Favre's last season...out of touch, no fastball, and showing his wang to terrified women

nothing wrong with celebrating your own birthday

What you should have picked up on is him big timing some update guy yesterday by saying in a condescending tone "you have to understand the TV industry"

Adults throwing birthday parties for themselves? "Hey.....look at me it's my birthday !!!"

If someone cares or wants to know it's your birthday, they'll ask or find out themselves and then act accordingly.

Normal behavior for someone aged, oh I don't know, age 12 or under?

I know.

Like for instance, its only 12 days to my birthday, but you dont see me posting about it.

I mean, its less than two weeks. A week from Sunday. But no pathetic advertisements about it from me.

I'm not knocking people for celebrating birthdays. Just people who plan their own parties and talk about their birthday before it comes up for weeks. Which is what Larry has done in B&B transition. Has done so for a few years now.

I don't know people like Larry. Like I said, I would be embarrased to throw my own party and discuss my birthday like it's some important event. His lack of shame and self love is quite shocking to me. Do you guys know people like this? I'm sure they exist. Larry can't be the only one.

Have NBC5's Cheryl Scott & Alicia Roman filed restraining orders against Holmesy as Brent Sopel has now started to call him?

Some guy on twitter, who I also think is a fellow CSFMBer, calls himself Not Les Grobstein, and he was giving Holmes crap yesterday that I think you all would enjoy.

Laurence Holmes ‏@LaurenceWHolmes 11h
Front if you want LeBron had a triple-double & carried them in the 4th.

Not Les Grobstein @NotLesGrobstein
@LaurenceWHolmes he didn't carry them in the last 7 minutes. Stop trying to be @dan_bernstein for once

Not Les Grobstein ‏@NotLesGrobstein 10h
@LaurenceWHolmes has been bringing the weak sauce on twitter lately. Also defending his NBC people on horrible Cup coverage. #biased

You know what I meant. The 2 weeks of previewing his birthday and the 2 weeks of talking about his birthday celebration that he planned for himself. Most people don't do 2 weeks of pregame and postgame on their birthdays.

Beardown is like Willie Mays with the Mets, but I guess the the picture of Willie Mays in his Mets uniform didn't come across.

Alright. I got it. When is the wang whipping of me gonna stop?

#UNNECESSARILYWANGWHIPPED

To address the above tweets. It really is true. Larry's rants and discussions during transtion is him just repeating what he's heard from Bernstein's show that day. Repeating Bernstein means Larry gets Bernstein's approval which he desperately needs. It's so amazing. Don't think for one second that Bersntein doesn't realize it. How can you not? It's just the way Larry does it. He can't even deny it. It would be like disputing that the world is round.
