I've always thought Tim Meadows was funny. It appears he's now reading random commercial spots for WSCR. He must be hurting for cash. |

I think I saw Tim Meadows in a commercial for the new Sandler movie. He is from SNL. He was on SNL longer than anybody or close to it. I liked him. Tim Reid became popular when he played a DJ on WKRP in Cincinatti. |

Tim Meadows has always sounded/appeared forced and unsure of himself. He's about as funny as Joe Bartosch. |

Tim Meadows wasn't really funny in and of himself, but I'd argue that wasn't his job. He was a classic glue guy; sketch comedy needs that. |

Yes, but even performing in that context a sense of timing and fitting into the flow are key. Meadows always seemed to lack both of those qualities. |

one the scale of "the one black SNL cast member", he probably rates right in the middle. The top is obvious: 1. Eddie Murphy 2. Garrett Morris I'd put Meadows in the next group probably about the same as Tracy Morgan. That guy Pharroh is moving up the ranks but he breaks the mold a little bit because he is also the impressions guy. |

i always felt bad for him, he seemed like he was in the "...and featuring" section of SNL for an eternity......pretty much everyone else from that era had moved on to bigger and better things and he was still "...and featuring!!" |

Seems like the other guy Rusty? got too big for WSCR. Tim does an awesome SW Airlines spot. It's somewhere between effeminate and creepy. |

Hope so. (not) Meadows apparently can't say the word "bold" (pronounces it "boad"), or other words with an "L" sound before an ending consonant. Kinda has a little Brokaw in 'im (hey HEY!!!). |
