Len is losing points on a daily basis by tolerating and possibly befriending the candyman. That shit needs to stop already. I would rather my guy mick gillespie from AA get the tv gig. He will have big league job somewhere someday. As far as the question at hand.....he really doesn't get my flag to full mast. I would rather lure Grace away from whatever the hell he does in AZ now. |

What used to be a great broadcast team is now just average. Len is a great PBP Man but he needs a high energy outspoken partner. Jim D is neither. |

While DeShaies got a little better, he is still boring. Someone at the Cubs or Comcast, really fucked up when signing him. They talked about some hip pop culture guy and he is far from it. Really a boring guy. But they paid him some big money. He is Dave Otto, but for way more $$$ |

Kind of leaning nay. Was excited to hear him after the good reviews from astros fans. But he's really just kind of there. Would really like to hear the cluster fuck regarding the brenly contract offer/non offer. DeShaies got the same if not more money than Brenly was offered. And they aren't in the same league. Bad, bad move by Cubs broadcasting. Had one of the best teams around and broke it up, for whatever reason. |

I think he's doing a decent job. I seem to remember Brenly's first year being a bit vanilla. It took time for him and Len to lay the groundwork for what became one of the best teams I've listened to. JD is doing fine for his first year. We should see some improvement in the coming season, I suspect. It could be worse. What's Joe Carter doing these days? |

Brenly annoyed me all the time with long pauses of silence and I never felt like they had the rapport that everyone said they did. I like J.D. and Joe Carter was on the radio anyways, wasn't he? |

Joe Carter only did the WGN TV broadcasts, and Otto was on the Comcast (or Fox Sports) broadcasts. Carter is easily the worst baseball guy during my lifetime in Chicago. |
