Only fair that I open this thread. Do you think they will blast a brand new coaching staff after this loss? |

Game isn't even close to over, heck, Cutler hasn't even thrown a pick yet. |

The station that is all Bears can barely squeeze in post game between the Sox and Sunday night football. It was kind of tough to find a good postgame show yesterday. That is the market North should be exploring. |

Old guy caller just wanted the Bears to kick the field goal with :03 left for a playoff tiebreaker. |

Jerry Vainisi must be wondering why the hell he's sitting there listening to these dumb ass callers. Ed and Doug need to do a better job cutting these drunk, meatheads off sooner. |

Fucking Doug and OB are the best. These guys won't be around forever so enjoy it while you can. First thing out of the box OB goes on a tirade about how the Bears haven't had a tight end in nine years!! |

Hatchetman wrote: First thing out of the box OB goes on a tirade about how the Bears haven't had a tight end in nine years!! That's not entirely true. Greg Olsen was a decent tight end he had between 39 and 60 catches per season for the Bears. He just didn't fit with Martz's idea of a tight end only blocking. Desmond Clark was a decent tight end for the Bears. In 2006 he had 45 catches, in 2007 he had 44 catches, in 2008 he had 41 catches, in 2009 he had 19 catches in only 11 games. In his last year with the Bears he had 1 catch in 5 games, but that was largely because Martz didn't want him around even though he was a better receiver than Davis. |

They said the Bears lost to a better team but then go and read the stats where they had the edge in offensive categories. |

Did they put the blame where it belonged, which was on the defense? Or were they like the rest of the sheep braying about the "terrible offense"? |

Terry's Peeps wrote: Did they put the blame where it belonged, which was on the defense? Or were they like the rest of the sheep braying about the "terrible offense"? They were terrible today. They praised Cutler and his quarter back rating which is something I thought they did not care about at all. They just said the Saints were the better team and they won. They blamed the personnel on the D-line and lack of large bodies in the middle. |

I loved them talking about "the coke machines" and how they remembered some guy who was 6'8" 320lbs that some team just stuck on the D-Line and then lamented with fire and brimstone about how the Bears couldn't find someone like that. "COKE MACHINES, DOUG!!!!" |

For too long the defense has gotten a pass because they take the ball away and occasionally score touchdowns. Take that away and eveybody recognizes that they're a middling defense that allows way too many yards after contact. If this is the effort the defense is gonna give, Trestman might as well run a hurry up offense. |

certainly he should rethink their emphasis on the run. |
