No wonder why the Score is trying to recruit graphic design internships

http://www.670thescore.com/includes/new ... oesalt.jpg

This banner is actually on the Score's home page. Nice image of Larry there... way to go!

Someone in my class hands me the info sheet on how to get a graphics internship at The Score... of course the internship is unpaid.

Unlike broadcasting, most internships in graphic design are actually paid! Good old CBS radio... being consistent in being cheap in all fields of media.

Sorry for the unnecessary rant. I'm just bored now. I'll get back to my work.

I wouldn't call it unnecessary, Contempt. The Score ought to be ashamed of themselves for actually displaying something so bush-league on their site. It's not like it's "Joe-Blow's Shitty Sports Blog." These guys are funded by CBS. That's unacceptable.

Grid? I resemble that remark.

I was just showing I could do a worse job of outlining L-Holmes image. :)

Nevermind all that -- you don't have good pictures of your people, there's not much you could do with that template, anyhow. For chrissakes, focus the camera, first!

Hmm. Neat. Too bad I don't really have any quantifiable experience. I've just done Photoshop/web design odds and ends for my high school and a Milwaukee radio station. Oh well.

What a great role! Since it's a 'web coordinator' role - you get paid like a marketing analyst (30K?) Have to depend on interns to come in and do the work for you. You get to right all the copy. You get to dream up ideas. All for 30K.

I'm merely speculating that based on the title - it would be in the same grade as an entry level marketing analyst. Marketing bachelor's degree pretty much are worthless if you are not headed to a top ad agency. My wife had one and bounced around from admin type position to admin type position until she became a stay at home mom.

That is an "entry" level position as well.
