Yes, I know in advance, most on here don't like the show. I listen sometimes, but he was all over the place in the first 20 minutes of the show.

1) Murph says, regarding the Bears, that something isn't right, but I can't place what it is. He then goes on to rip the coaching staff, and players for not being ready to play GB, but keeps going back to some mysterious problem that he can't place.

2) Murphy is upset that Ron Rivera wasn't on the practice field yesterday, but he keeps starting up his problems by saying 'I love Ronnie, but....', and then saying he'd do the same thing that Rivera did, and the NFL hiring process is really the problem.

This was the first time I ever just had to stop listening. I usually find some entertainment value out of his rants, but today I just couldn't take it. I can only take so much of the same old bears talk.

Buffone made a good point in that the NFL should institute a hiring freeze until after the Super Bowl so prospective head and assistant coaching interviewees would not leave their teams during the practice weeks.

I agree with you and Murphy that the NFL Hiring process isn't a good system, but those are the current rules.

I thought that Murphy needs to either profess his man-love for Rivera or be objective in his analysis, intead of starting off his comments with "I love Ronnie, but"

The show "Everybody Loves Raymond" should be "Everybody Loves Ronnie" because Boers just slobbered all over Rivera, too, before proclaiming that "the Bears won't miss him at all next year." Every sentence opened with, "I just love Ronnie, just love him to death, but . . ." Chico has quite a little admiration society over at the Score.

Considering he worked there for awhile, this shouldn't be too big of a surprise...

That doesn't mean they can't be objective when talking about the Bears defense or start every sentence with "I love Ronnie, but"
