1. Which producer is the #1 backup now?

2. Will that producer get a full time show somewhere?

It was drinky and Goff for a long time. Then Finfer was the Score's main back up. 2 out of 3 got made. Drinky got what Joe Pesci's character got in Good Fellas.

Maybe this could be a redux of the Drew Hayes era where no producers are designated backups. Zawaski is a producer who actually produces and is needed in that role. Tannehill seems to have more interest in production than hosting, and Dustin from the morning show has an IQ of 12. Drinky is the only producer I'd trust to host.

On the update/reporter side, I guess it would have to be McSigh or the Randazzler, though you've gotta think the latter is a real flight risk now.

Herb was put on the Score schedule for the first time in like 7 years or something last week

Maybe trying to toss him a bone and hope he stays

Herb told the story of how he was on air years ago once and then Drew hayes or Mitch or someone said "no more producers on air"

Yet, stangely, they have about the same speaking voice.

Most likely would be McKnight, and I would throw Rongey in there depending on how he can tolerate being on Sox pre and post.

I would say Matty by far next up but he's already talked about choosing FT producer because of travel and hours and family etc..

Randazzo's future is in play by play.

Herb is like a seasonal beer, he's much better in segments..and i'd probably get tired of him having a show, IMO.

Joe O has the same show every time he's hosting.

Gambino reminds me of Steve Berger.

Hoge is best suited as a reporter and is too involved in running the website.

The other producers belong where they are...and I hope Tanny stays in his role for a good while, one of the best sound guys in the biz

Who's Gambino?

I thought Harris ran the website.

No, Adam Hog runs the website. Adam Harris is Grobber's producer, though rumor has it he requested a different assignment. Gambino must be a M&H producer.
