Anyone else come across this guy? Pirate radio in Schaumburg/Hoffman Estates at 101.5 on your radio dial, mostly playing AOR, as best I can tell. Also has a website with a ton of Chicago radio history. The website looks like it hasn't been updated since 1995. Between this place and the Larz board, Chicago radio fans love them some dogshit web design. I find it strangely fascinating that this guy has been broadcasting pirate radio out of his basement for like 40 years. Five bucks says he's good friends with Les Grobstein. zecomradio.com EDIT: for a pirate outfit this is a really dedicated schedule: http://www.zecomradio.com/wzcm/zcm_sked.htm puts more work into being a PD than people who do it for actual stations, but jesus assfucking christ this is like the internet of my nightmares |
