What a load of hooey. "Esoteric", "deep thinking" -- are you kiddin' me? The guys wants high-brow discussions about Sunday's Bears game. Obviously, he never listens to his show. I can think of several words to describe his two hours of radio time each day -- nothing that would make it sound like a MENSA convention. Evidence of the deep thought -- Swammy Murph predicts Isiah Thomas will be suspended for the rest of the season. Even good-old buddy George scoffed at it. Murph's show is for the Cubbie-Kool-Aid drinkers and lowest-common-denominator Bears fans. I'd guess that at least 5 to 10 of his callers each day wouldn't last a minute with the meatball police from 2 to 6 p.m. |
