Also, way too much of a Sausage fest for my liking.

They should call it the "Manniversary", that would be awesome an event where no women are allowed and you drink beer with all men, all day, where do I sign up, radical.

I did not attend the 10 year Manniversary but heard about it from many that did (Employees and Listeners) and it sounded as described, unless you listened to On Air guys tell you it was AMAZING.

Hosts and Sponsors sat upstairs and slapped each other on the back, while peons that "WON" tickets to attend such a gala waited in line to sit downstairs and oggle up at a luminous Terry Boers or in the words of my friend Sterno (The Original Northside Mike) Hood sat upstairs all day like a black blimp.

And he did confirm that the VIP section was free drinks while the "WINNERS" got to PAY cash for theirs.

Being in the Bar Business for a period of time it's like giving the first 25 people free drinks so they each tell 20 people about the FREE party and the next 150 pay for the first 25.

I am sure Spaceball gave them a speech "Buddy, just set up the VIP for free and then we will bring in 500 dopes who will buy drinks all afternoon from 1 to 5 when you don't have anyone in here."

I was fortunate to have an upstairs pass for the 10th. There were women there, but I think they were all upstairs. Perhaps they had it down that when a woman walked in, they were given a VIP pass. More to mingle with the sponsors I guess.

I thought they did a nice job with the 10th Anniversary Show.

Other than it being downtown - and most listeners are probably in the burbs. At least prior to streaming that is.

That placed cleared out pretty quickly afterwards though. I'm sure they sold The Hard Rock Cafe on the concept that people would stick around for the BCS game. They thought wrong. If the Score guys weren't going to stick around, then why should the listeners have felt compelled to stay?
