WSOX, please take a seat in the back next to the bathroom, the Sales staff is going to now work with a team that they can do something with.

Hood the other day couldn't even get the sox pr people to get one guy on the phone for them in the early 7 hour with a 9 pm game. He said it was the only team in town that couldn't put something like that together

yes, one is named Jerry and the other is Kenny.

Of course to a point I am joking and we all know how well some of the Sox fans can take a joke, but if you heard Rod Zimmerman today talking about the upside of this Cubs deal you would think the White Sox didnt even exist.

One last note for all those that say 2015 is the season you see all these cubs 'HOPEFULS" taking the field at one time, that also happens to be the final Season of the Sox deal at WSCR and I will just guess by that time Jerry will be pissed off enough that WSCR is carrying Chicago Cubs Weekly, the Ricky Renteria Show and Cooking with Anthony that he will look to cut a deal with WGN or THE GAME.

Chris Rongey can go with. Listening to Cubs Weekly with miserable prick would be death.

They might give it to my guy Judd. Thats assuming they do it.

I will guess that the White Sox contract precludes WSCR from having the CUBS on a regular basis, but just guessing Jerry didnt have the forethought on this one that CUB shows will be on the Score now. Usually when Jerry fucks up a deal, he gets to bribe...ergghh,,,I mean donate more money to the political thieves he calls friends and rewrite the deal. (US CELLULAR exhibit #1)

Now "IF" WGN did Opt out, as some have said, I can only assume a major change at that station is taking place, because this is a HUGE part of their entire 'thing'.

They're the one's who put Larry in the First Pitch contest. Truly compelling stuff there.

Listening the past 5 or so days you would never know the Score is the White Sox flagship. Hit n Run honestly was Chicago Cubs Weekly with maybe 15 minutes of Sox talk. Really shitty way to treat a business partner. On WGN all you hear is Cubs Cubs Cubs and every attempt is made to market and pump their partner.

Thats what they sold. The Dynamics of the partnership. So of course you will hear it.

And then again THE PLAN is Ultra Smart, so who would be against it?

Hasn't Hit and Run always been about throwing a bone to the Cubs on an otherwise Sox-heavy station? Seemed that way when it was Jesse and George.

I'm the type of guy who wins a signed Sosa jersey in a charity silent auction the other week and even I think the Cubs talk has been a bit too much.

I agree.

Good choice for manager, look forward to seeing more from him and enjoyed hearing him talk.

Who is batting leadoff?

The day after the Cubs announced their deal with CBS, I predicted that Cubs games would be broadcast on The Score. We shall see.

Even though the contract specified that they would air on 780?

I think he means 780 is temporary. Just waiting for Sox to expire on 670.

But the White Sox just re-upped not too long ago, didn't they?

Post subject:  Re: WCUBbed

I don't think so. The Feder article in June announcing the Cubs/CBS deal stated Sox are up after 2015 and Cubs could shift if 670 if not re-upped.

Given the gargling of the Cubs nuts I think the Sox will be going somewhere else. Shoot, all 670 does is shit on them and all other other partners.
