This was a few months ago. I just found it now. I thought it was funny.

Man, I really struck a nerve with Cubs fans here by simply stating the obvious. So cubs fans were happy to lose Maddux? Is that what everybody here is trying to tell me? :lol:

Yes, Beardown....we were ecstatic to lose a HOF fame pitcher in his prime.

I work with a good number of Cub fans. I can't think of the last time any of them has brought up Maddux leaving.

Sorry to throw a match on your strawman.

I know he gets a lot of hate, and I agree that he's not funny outside of the impressions, but he is an extremely talented impressionist. The best I've ever seen actually. He has really diversified the last couple years too.

Yeah he's the best Ive ever heard. His material just sucks.

Some of his FOX stuff was good.

When he was doing Gruden for Gruden, he should have had tape of Gruden broadcasting, found him looking stupid or doing something stupid or saying something stupid, and asked the real Gruden "what are you doing here?" and "What the hell is that?". Then keep on rewinding and playing the video while giving the actual Gruden the intense Gruden stare. Cuz that is something the actual Gruden does when he interviews the rookie QBs.

I'll bet the actual Gruden would have gotten pissed had he done something like that. That would have been some great TV.
