I tuned in at 8pm and after the update Larry went on to say he has so much football related stuff to talk about that he doesn't know how he'll fit it all in. He then proceeds to tell about a very uninteresting and insignificant incident of vandalism at Soldier Field, and for the the next 20 minutes he utterly wastes time going over the possible "suspects" - each being some member of the Score of course, or a player. Of course Larry was getting such a huge kick out of it, finding it endlessly funny and amusing. He just couldn't stop.

This is one of many things about that makes him SOOOOO BAD. He has no ability to control his childish musings, all of which carry on way too long. That bit should have lasted about one minute - if it even had to happen. But instead, it just wrapped up at 8:20.

that's why we (or at least me) always made fun of THE PEOPLE'S HOUR COLON WE DO WHAT WE WANT. because "the people's hour" invariably started off with a segment or two of HARD BAKE regurgitating the stuff you've heard on the station all day, and then the rest of THE PEOPLE'S HOUR was essentially laurence picking some topic and rambling on about it while he took 2-3 callers to fortify the idea that it's some populist hour where "anything goes."

basically laurence indulges himself for the 30-45min of the show (cuz it's not even an hour unless the people clamored for HARD BAKE) and hides behind THE PEOPLE to justify it like they're all calling up in droves demanding the topic that laurence just happens to be going on and on about.
