I used to enjoy listening to Murph Saturday afternoons on The Score.He was a comfortable, fun listen. But the business has clearly passed him by and he is not just "out of step Charlie" but "out of my damn fool mind Charlie."
After ranting against Theo and the Cubs plan all summer and looking foolish in the process, it must be dawning on Matt Abbatacola's favorite host that things are starting to work out pretty well for the Cubs.Trying to save as much face as possible, Murph calls out the fans who knew he was wrong all along .He says that if you are a fan who endorses losing to win (rebuilding) then you should root for The Bears to go 0-16 this year as they have no chance to win the Super Bowl and would get a high draft pick. Even Fred was perplexed .
The Bears probably wont win the Super Bowl but they certainly arent in the shape the Cubs were pre Theo.
Murph is consistently telling smarter fans to get off his audio lawn and turn on Pandora.
