Congrats on the engagement but she isn't mrs. Anything until they say I do.

Lots of ladies making a final desperate play between then and now

True. I wouldn't have announced it until they had 2 months of engagement. From what people have written here, he's been chasing her for 10 years. That means the engagement is day to day.

If I get engaged I won't announce it until the day before the wedding. I would always assume she's gonna back out.

hes got no chance. if she has been holding out for 10 years shes making a tressman pick. she might wake up and realize it before its too late, or she might see how it goes for a year or two and then go with someone that has a day job.

Congrats to Holmes, but yikes, not a great look. You would think someone that's on TV and radio could do a little better. Hell, have his boys Tillman and Briggs hook him up with some of their leftovers.

Screw you guys. Jerks. Larry will appreciate me defending his future wife. No. She's not a super model. But it was she that lowered her standards when it comes to looks.

No one finds it interesting that this "hatersgonnahate" is getting on people for hating on Holmes, but also refers to him as "Leary"?

None of this is particularly interesting. Camps. Ya knob.

Busted...I was trying to draw out the haters who think the "Leary" and "Larry" things are hilarious. I find none of it particularly fun. Brother hosts a great show and gets very little love around here.

Everyone would refer to him as Lawrence if he hadn't been so insistent that he be called Lawrence. That happens in every walk of life.

He does not host a great show. He hosts an acceptable show with a lot of quirkiness that bears mentioning.

I don't like the disrespect of his fiancée. I find that outside the lines. However, anything dealing with show content is certainly fair game. Lawrence gives plenty to remark upon.

I agree.
Calling Larry - Larry is much worse than calling Matt - Matty or Dan - Danny or Terrence - Terry.
I guess he's pissed his parents named him after a boxer. I wish they were fans of this guy.

Basic Bro code: Call a nickname, get a nickname. Used to fish with a guy who called eveybody by their formal name, out of respect he didn't get his nickname until the end of the fishing trip.

I agree. Lay off the fiance. She's the generous one here anyway.

I think she's very attractive. In fact, I find it hard to criticize anything...perfect teeth, good skin, eyebrows. However, I would find her much sexier if she were a hedge fund manager and not a social worker.

Could be a social worker with an inheritance. Is that better?

Exactly. He brought this upon himself. He just gave a bunch of ammunition to his haters. This is a lesson he should have learned in grade school.

He was waxing poetic about the past the other night, talking about how 27 yr old Larry would hate 39 yr old Larry, and vice versa. Then he was talking about how the Score has changed over the years. He grew up listening to the Monsters, and he has taken parts of their show, and added his own flavor. Next, it was about how some kid out there is growing up listening to Larry. I understand what he was trying to do, but he needs to tap the brakes with the comparisons to the Monsters. They were the FOTS that helped a station grow from nothing, and Larry is a Bernstein clone, who hosts at night, when there is no Sox baseball or NIU hoops.

Laurence and Herbie are the closest thing to the Monsters we have currently. Also, he'd be doing afternoon drive if he didn't have so many other irons in the fire. Laurence has turned down opps at both the Score and ESPN because he likes doing what he does.
