He uses all of his vacation time in Feb and March when he would have full boat shows. Doesn't use them in the Spring and Summer when he has half hour show.

I'd do the same. Not knocking him.

When you pretty much have the spring and summer off, why waste vacation days then?

I believe he explained it on the air by saying that his "year" on his contract starts March 1st, so he saves them till the end of the year and then takes what he can rather than burn them off over the course of the year. That makes sense.

I've never been in a situation where I was single with defined vacation. I imagine it would be near impossible to go through true vacation days. Do single people go on vacation for a week by themselves? If not, how would you burn through the 4-6 weeks a guy like Sir gets.

lawrence has his smash shack in arizona and can flash a 500k w-2 in scottsdale. add a week for chicago bears cruise and that's an easy use of all vacation.

compare to a office drone sucker like myself where i left 2 weeks on the table since I don't have rollover.

Maybe. It's not easy to get people friends to agree on a location or time of year unless its an event type vacation (Las Vegas, golf outing, fishing trip).

Doesn't seem too hard to me. Maybe mix in a few Sunday night/Monday combos as well.
