I have listened on and off; have they made mentioned of past hosts who are no longer on the station? I heard Muprhy mention Tom Webb, but anyone here anyone else?

Murph played a clip with him talking to someone about being a pro bowler (Murph thought the memo which his producer wrote meant bowler as in bowling, when it in fact meant NFL pro bowler). The producer was Tommy Williams and his voice was heard for a second.

Buffone on B+B. Buffone mentions working with two people who aren't at the station. Mentions Greeny and Mac. After Douggy mentions Mac's name, Boers casually says "I don't know him."

The "I don't know him" is a reference to Ditka's hatred of Ed O'Bradovich. B&B mentioned former reporter/update guy Rich Ackerman a few mins ago.

Thank you BEEF, you beat me to it...it looks like the paranoid Score will only mention past employees (Tom Webb) if they are Dead.

I heard some of the replay last night on the ride home and North & Jiggs were throwing Mac's name around every few minutes.

From the sound of it, it seems that they really didn't recognize their past unless it involved people who are still there. I know it is way to celebrate the station, but alot of the guys who worked there over the years were a vital part of that station - guys who always showed up at things like the fishing trip, the bowling thing North threw, etc. Whether you liked them or not, guys like Grobber ,Azzaro, T Dub and the others played parts in the success of the station.

Somewhere there should have been recognition of guys who were on the air for over 5 years or more -

Absolutely!

I know North mentioned a lot of the old timers that started out at the station, and who's to say Mitch didn't invite those folks and they simply didn't come?

I've been a fan a long time, and I'm surprised that some of the long time guys behind the scenes didn't get a bit more kudos, like Greg Lane, Super Fan Dan, etc.

It would have been nice to see Spaceball there yesterday too. Maybe he was there and I missed him though...

I've talked to 3 veterans who each spent more than 5 years there: No, they weren't invited / and they weren't invited to the 10th party either.

Why is anyone surprised by this.

The business by its nature is full of severely insecure and emotionally disordered people. In addition, any mention of the past will feed said insecurities, especially in the case of people at other stations. I was glad that Danny Mac was even mentioned.

Some veterans would have been nice to mention, especially an original like Shaer. But lets face it, he fits the business description to a T, and he was perhaps the most disliked person that ever worked there.

Well, I guess that explains how you found your calling. Thanks for clearing up the mystery.
