Post subject:  Mac on Mornings on 97.1 Drive
I was flipping around the FM channels this morning when I thought I heard Mac's voice today on 97.1 the Drive. It was him.

Not sure when he started there, but he's doing fill-in with another guy between songs. Sounded a bit awkward, because it's a classic rock station and Mac was talking about the Tennessee Titans.

The irony of his new gig is that he wanted the afternoon Gig on the Score, and now's he's on even earlier on 97.1 than he was before. His wife must have told him to go back to work and take whatever he could get. Kind of sad, really, that he's now doing FM radio with music.

It's disappointing for those of us who wanted to hear more of him on the Score but I have to commend him for the fact he is doing what he wants on his terms.
Hell he is out early everyday to fish and golf or whatever he wants to do. Seems like a pretty good gig no matter what he is getting paid, which is probably
better than a majority of us posting here.

Latest ratings book has Mac in 4th place in the ratings, 3.9 share up from 3.5. Who knew the key to upping the share was having Mac intro Over the Hills and far Away instead of <insert different time and temp jock here>

Sorry, been bad about checking Feder the last few days. Great news for Mac and the Drive. I hope this means they'll open things up for Mac to get involved more.

The only thing that sucks is that they're in sixth and fucking Mancow is already in fourth. Why?
